I thought all the Jews moved to Southfield in the ‘60s. The Jewish neighborhoods migrated northwest along the Lodge. They were among the easiest for “block busting” realtors to work. One house flipped to a black family and they were ready to go. Not like the Polish and Italian neighborhoods.
Farmington Hills was an unincorporated village before that, and away from the hustle and “madness of those for innovations.”

You may be right. That synagogue was run by and attended almost exclusively by women — i.e., womyn. The lesbian angle may be why the police and media are allowing the story to fade away before making public the details. Or it could just be a squalid black-on-white crime.
