Thanks for posting the conservative scores of these so-called conservatives.
I believe 2023 will be remembered as the year the RINO’s were fully exposed by their votes for a House Speaker.
At FR we have been complaining about the squishy GOP House and Senate for years. Just maybe, the voters have now become enlightened as well and will start taking a hard look at the RINO’s who have been representing them.
Buck, James and Spartz surprise me. I see them coming around to Jordan on the next ballot.
Most of them are in Biden districts, so not so simple to primary them.
I imagine a fair number of those (four New Yorkers?) are probably from blue districts. So you add those to the ones in blue districts who voted for Jordan then the majority goes away, and along with it the need to pick a Speaker of the House.
James voted for Tom Cole! Cole has a 50% Liberty Score.
James was a US Senate candidate TWICE. Thought he was a conservative. Or he’s just a fool.
Oddly enough, the lowest rated “Republican” in the house, at 26%, voted for Jordan.
“Oddly enough, the lowest rated “Republican” in the house, at 26%, voted for Jordan.”
Yes I saw that.
“Most of them are in Biden districts, so not so simple to primary them.”
MOST of them? False.
Bacon, Chavez-DeRemer, Kiggans (barely) and some of the New Yorkers and that’s it.
It makes you wonder what sort of deal was made for that vote.
“It makes you wonder what sort of deal was made for that vote.”
These people can get what they want. It can just be in individual bills.
