The invasion of Gaza was initially planned for the weekend, but was delayed by a few days at least in part because of cloudy conditions that would have made it harder for Israeli pilots and drone operators to provide ground forces with air cover, the officers said. - NYT pic.twitter.com/K8jnqSOmmw— Faytuks News Δ (@Faytuks) October 14, 2023

Yeah when my Mom heard about it I went and sent her cousin a message on whatsapp to ask if he was Ok thankfully he’s fine..they all are, fine physically but mentally its just been hell
“I think the longer they take to respond, the less likely they will due to mounting political pressure”
Which is exactly why Bibi better strike while the iron’s still hot. In the coming days we’ll be hearing more and more sob stories in the left wing media about the impending Palestinian humanitarian disaster. Bibi will then back off, and a year from now Hamas will be back at it lobbing Rockets into Israel and terrorizing citizens.
🙏
Just heard on Fox that its been delayed til next week due to weather I hope its a head fake but I doubt it
Even the UAW during its strike doesnt announce their tactics
In the last major confrontation, Israel announced to the media a ground invasion in Gaza, Hamas entered their tunnels and Israel took advantage of it.
US sending second aircraft carrier to the Mediterranean

Interesting
Flying in rain is a known issue with stealth aircraft.
I started to Photoshop a grinning, scantily clad Weather Girl gesturing towards a map of Israel and Gaza and captioning it with something like:
“Today we have overcast and rain, but Monday it looks like the sky will be blue and it will be raining JDAM’s in the Gaza Strip!”
But it is hard to Photoshop on a laptop!
I was over October in 2019 and the Hamas were lobbing over rockets constantly.
They seem to have gotten more sophisticated with the strike length.
Globull warming saves us again.
US has urged Israel to delay its ground operation in Gaza until safe passage for Palestinians can be secured
*************
Including Hamas.
Remember when Arafat was cornered in Lebanon?
He skated away at the UN’s insistence.
How did that work out?
“In the last major confrontation, Israel announced to the media a ground invasion in Gaza, Hamas entered their tunnels and Israel took advantage of it.”
Let them go into the tunnels. Don’t go in after them. Get a bunch of piping and pumps and flood them. Gaza is close to the sea. It will take some time but cost less Israeli losses.
Starting to dither?
“ Hamas likely does not have attack drones”
*****************************************************
They had some that they used in the terror attacks last Saturday.
If true, lets hope this, "compassionate war" does not last 10 years.
For Biden Admin, “safe passage for Palestinians” means getting all the Hamas fighters out posing as civilians.
I missed that particular detail.
I knew they had surveillance drones, but I did not know they had armed drones that could fire shaped charge explosives.
If that is the case, then IDF is in deep trouble with any operations in Gaza.
I guess we will find out by Monday or Tuesday.
NYT is simply getting ridiculous not just so biased.
