'Why didn't Trump do something about it?' An incredulous Ron DeSantis is yet again addressing the former President’s contention that the 2020 election was “stolen,” saying that’s an “untenable position.”
Speaking at the New Hampshire Institute of Politics’ “Politics and Eggs” event, the Florida Governor didn’t hold back when asked to evaluate Donald Trump’s ongoing contention that he didn’t lose fairly to Joe Biden.
“If that is true, he was the sitting President of the United States and let that happen to him. I would never let that happen. As Governor, would I just sit there and let something like that happen?”
DeSantis wondered “why didn’t Trump do something about it.”
“And if you didn’t do something in 2020, how are you going to solve that problem? As a private citizen rage tweeting from Mar-A-Lago? There’s just no way. So I think it’s an untenable position that he’s taken,” he added.

You're letting it happen right now because the FLGOP will be done with you soon and move on to someone else.
It is sad indeed. This is an instance where excessive pride led to a fall.
Why Ron kept attacking and advancing is a question he probably can’t answer.
Trump has had now 8 years to build a coalition of support. Instead he chooses, still, to run his mouth and antagonize those whose support he needs.
Trump was too weak to stop the steal in 2020 and 2024 will be no different. That a lot of people don’t want to hear that simple truth isn’t Desantis’s fault.
Thanks. Between the small phone and waiting to get rid of cataract’s, its just hard to read.
Sounds reasonable. Take the guy who the left would see as the next legimate candidate, and turn him into squish... yea, Trump benefits. At least Ron can use this line in the future.
