'Why didn't Trump do something about it?' An incredulous Ron DeSantis is yet again addressing the former President’s contention that the 2020 election was “stolen,” saying that’s an “untenable position.”
Speaking at the New Hampshire Institute of Politics’ “Politics and Eggs” event, the Florida Governor didn’t hold back when asked to evaluate Donald Trump’s ongoing contention that he didn’t lose fairly to Joe Biden.
“If that is true, he was the sitting President of the United States and let that happen to him. I would never let that happen. As Governor, would I just sit there and let something like that happen?”
DeSantis wondered “why didn’t Trump do something about it.”
“And if you didn’t do something in 2020, how are you going to solve that problem? As a private citizen rage tweeting from Mar-A-Lago? There’s just no way. So I think it’s an untenable position that he’s taken,” he added.

Ron’s done. He has ruined any chance at national office. He may even ruin his chances for state office.
He came from obscurity. Became a somebody because of Trump. Now he is returning to obscurity. And he can’t handle it.
Getting to really dislike this man. Admired him as Governor of Florida.
Ron is becoming a caricature.
He would have been better served by the duplicitous actions (or lack of) by Barr and McConnell and others. However, that would not be acceptable by the RNC beaurocracy.
This is not something you joke about. This is something to denounce and speak against. This affects all conservative voters that their choices are regulated by whatever means.
Did DeSantis not say that the election was not stolen and that Biden was a legitimate president, a few weeks ago?
Now he says that Trump, not knowing about the potential stolen election in the five battleground states, should have stopped it anyway.
If Trump had moved in he would have been impeached quickly for election interference.
DeSantis is one sleazy backstabbing political hack. I will never, ever vote for the little fairy.

If 2020 was stolen, it's because Trump went on vacation and left the garage door open.
Bill Barr, Chris Wray, the Intel agencies, the complicit media, etc. denies the existence of vote fraud, and all those who would provide proof to the contrary are denied "standing" in the courts.

Take someone from history, say, Queen Elizabeth I and put her in Trumps position, believing power being stolen in plain view. There’d have been hell to pay! If Trump had drawn a line and started getting to the bottom of the obvious skullduggery he’d have had God knows how many individuals and departments mutinying and tens of millions of Americans screaming moody murder. Wouldn’t have bothered Liz I because that’s they way the old school rolled. But today the sheer ferocity of the evil ones combined with the timidity of many on our side may have backed Trumps side down. Hard to say but it would have been a fight.
