Palestinian group Hamas early Saturday hailed Russia’s rejection of an Israeli military offensive in the Gaza Strip.
“We appreciate Russian President Vladimir Putin’s position on the ongoing aggression against our people and his rejection of the Gaza siege, cutting off relief supplies, and targeting safe civilians there,” Hamas said in a statement.
The group also welcomed Russian efforts “to stop the barbaric and systematic aggression against our Palestinian people in Gaza.”
Putin warned on Friday that civilian casualties will be "absolutely unacceptable" in case of an Israeli ground operation in the Gaza Strip.

The Hamas soldiers who committed the atrocities have fled to Gaza hiding under civilian dwellings. Israel will do whatever it takes to kill and destroy Hamas. Israel doesn’t want to kill civilians but if they have to to get to these reprobates, they will. Collateral damage in war not unlike WWII.

Israel has ceased to care about what the West thinks. They know now more than ever that they are on their own. (Soon they will know their true Friend and Messiah, Jesus Christ.)
I believe this will be more of a beginning of the fulfillment of Psalm 83 - the “perishing” of Israel’s close-by enemy-neighbors. Ez. 38-39 and Daniel’s 70th week are coming soon but not yet. Notice that Ez. 38-39 lists none of the nations listed in Psalm 83. I believe that is because those nations were eliminated beforehand (beginning now).

When the subject is survival, people’s opinions don’t matter a hell of a lot.
I am sure they thought ahead of time that they would commit their depredations then all the “humanitarians” in Europe and America would persuade or coerce a cease fire, perhaps preserving some real estate gains. Those gains did not last long enough to get everybody sobbing for the poor Palestinians and ceasefire is not going to happen now. Being a bit skeptical always, I expect there will, indeed, be a ceasefire that lets the Palies stay alive in Gaza that Israel will gain no goodwill benefit from at all. Israel should clean out then reclaim Gaza.
