I don’t have eclipse glasses so I’ll just watch Mark’s live stream. I don’t even know where he’s going to set up his equipment. I suppose he’ll call when he gets to the area so we can meet him. I don’t know, maybe for lunch or something after it’s over. The eclipse starts between 9:30am and 10am. I think. LOL!
I hope they come early rather than late, like they usually do to fix this thing. Good thing the safety thingy didn’t start till today, otherwise my thread would have been a hot mess.
Good evening Ma and gang!
*HUGS*
Sissie and mylife, terrible accident in Maine took
the life on a great doctor.
It happened aboard one of the antique schooners
like the one we went on!

Oh, Sis! How awful! His poor family. I’m glad nothing like that happened when we were on one of them. All I have are wonderful memories of that day-trip!
I held on to my glasses after the 2017 eclipse here. Hubby and I tossed around the idea of heading over to AR next April for that total eclipse but I guess I’ll miss that one since Hubby’s gone. Still have the glasses, though, and I’ll use them Saturday if there’s a view.
That eclipse will be relatively close to you. The center will be just a hair west of Waco. It would be a great experience for the kids so y’all should consider meeting up there.
Fingers crossed for luck those guys show up early tomorrow.
Howdy, MS.B! *HUGZ*
Long time, no see. I hope you’re doing well these days.
Sad news about the doctor. What a horrible freak accident.
It’s a very loooong drive to Waco, and the kids could probably care less. LOL! No, I’ll stay here and try to meet up with Mark somehow. We’re in the direct path of the one Saturday.
Thanks for the fingers crossed. Mine are, too. I’m bored out of my mind without watching shows tonight. Might be a good night to head out early, since I didn’t get a nap today.
Good morning, Mayor, and thank you for today’s sustenance for body and soul.
Looks like the weekend may get here. We made it thru hump day.
You don’t think the girls would want to experience a total eclipse? Sit in total darkness for a couple of minutes during the middle of the day? I’m getting goosebumps thinking about it. LOL It was kinda creepy but it was one of the coolest experiences in my life.
It won’t get that dark there this weekend but it’s still going to be a cool experience.
Ugh! No shows? That MUST be boring. I’m watching the Gaza Show again though it isn’t as active today as it has been. Can’t be too many targets left after the hammering they’ve taken the past few days. Still picking off a few though.
No, I really doubt it. Piper is 16 with teenage stuff on her mind and Callie is in her own little world. LOL! I will watch Mark’s live stream. I have no protection from the sun. I guess I’ll notice that it gets darker. LOL!
I think I will head out. I’m getting sleepy just sitting here. Guess I could read a book. I do have a couple that need reading. Actually, I think I will for a bit. See ya Saturday. Hope it’s not too chilly on that mountain!
You know them a lot better than I do. It’s just hard to fathom anyone not being interested in a total solar eclipse because they don’t happen close by very often. But then Dad instilled the love of all things space in me when I was a little girl and it’s still there.
I hope Mark puts something on YT Saturday so I can check it out when I get home. I don’t go to the social media sites he sometimes posts his stuff on. The Ring of Fire will be a pretty sight.
I need to go get those two plants in and shut this thing down earlier than I have the past few nights. I need a good long sleep before the weekend getting up at the crack of dawn. LOL There’s little going on overseas so it’ll be easy to give up on the streams for a change.
Enjoy your books. I hope you’re back to your shows tomorrow night.
Catch ya Saturday.
Nothing more than just a little wind and cooler temperatures.
I think I can eke a few more rides from Blue, and Penny is respendant in her new winter “coats” (Three Layers)!
Still in the 50’s and 60’s here, and the trees are just starting to turn.
George โBudโ Day was from here. I met him once................
one day closer Kathy!
Good morning, luv!
Howdy, Tann! Good to see you today....of course it’s not morning anymore. LOL!
Wifi is BACK! I’m a happy camper! Have fun this weekend!
