Democrats wrestle with the Biden conundrum
NBC News / Comcast ^ | October 11, 2023 | By Chuck Todd

Amid all of the news and issues on the top of political minds, there is one non-versation that continues to dominate: Can Joe Biden do this again?

I call it a “non-versation” because the folks wringing their hands the most about whether Biden is up to the task of winning in 2024 are people who, in many cases, have already endorsed him for re-election. A few even work directly for him — and are still having the same uneasy feeling…

Ultimately, Democrats in Washington — in both the executive and the legislative branches — share the same concern voters have been expressing for the last six months: They fear voters can’t be convinced Biden is up to the job, and they don’t have confidence the team around Biden fully appreciates the concern.

The caveats before this non-versation are all very similar. “He’s really done a remarkable job, given the circumstances,” goes a common one. The handwringing after the various caveats are set aside all has the same sound to it, too, with answers hidden in questions like: “Do you think he looks too old?”

So far, Team Biden has decided not to accept the premise of the age question. It publicly chalks it up to the media, even going so far as to say the media should stop asking about it in polls. There’s a naive belief among some Biden partisans that if you don’t mention his age, it won’t be an issue.

In the real world, concern about Biden’s age is an issue, and the voters are screaming it.

The numbers stem from a simple fact: A number of Biden supporters were never enamored with him but saw him as the safest way to get rid of Trump.

Can Joe Biden do this again?

You mean cheat? Sure he can. And the corrupt MSM are standing by willing to help repeating things like, "debunked", "conspiracy theory", and "those on the far right believe...".

Biden is the person that best represents the Democrats? They can’t think of someone better?

F. Chuck Todd needs to get with the program and stop inventing words. Biden is the only hope for America in 2024. Biden must be the Democratic nominee. He needs to run on his record. He needs to boast about Bidenomics. He needs to run on his foreign policy record. He’s done amazing things to our military, border, economy, culture and security. Joe Biden is the model Democrat and the American people need not be confused by some other Democrat without a record; even though there would a continuation of all the same Obama-Biden policies.

“Can Joe Biden do this again?”

Well, do the Dims have their well-oiled vote theft machine ready to go? If so, they can hide Dementia Joe away in the basement again.

No sane, intelligent, rational individual can actually win a free and fair election. So if the left is sticking with FJB, then that indicates without a doubt the fix is in.

Again.

Joe is great for the Democrats.

Lots of drugs and drug money.

Jackasses across the world pay The Democrat Party Organized Crime Syndicate to buy foreign policy and protection.

Biden makes the U.S weak and makes us look weak. If the Democrats had any sense, they would 25th Amendment the old guy before he does more damage to America.

The Dems are hoisted on their own racist identity politics

If not Der Biden, it has to be Harris. Harris is even more unpopular with voters then him.

If they try to slide someone in over Harris, they lose a big chunk of Black Women Voters who are a critical part of their voter block.

Disagree. 90% of blacks will vote for any white guy they are told to by their dim plantation owners.

If you “25th amendment the old guy” you have Harris as president. How is that a good idea for anybody?
