The person recording the clip explains that they're on the first floor of the kids' department of the location, as the man is attempting to evade people chasing him wearing nothing but socks.
'He's like, holding the kid,' the recorder claims, suggesting that the unidentified man was trying to touch two kids that he had with him in the store.
As the woman recording asks where a cop is, the men chasing begin to jog after the man as he disappears behind a pole.
He is then seen a few seconds letter grabbing a pair of pants from the store and attempting to put them on.
A man in a black hat then decides to throw punches with the man, as the accused pervert fights him off.
Two other people eventually grab him and attempt to wrestle him under control after he pushes off the first chaser.
Once they get him under control, the man in the black hat throws an additional punch at the naked man while someone is heard in the background saying: 'C'mon, let's get him!'
He then starts to throw further punches and swings violently at the man as the clip ends with people heard warning: 'Okay, enough. Enough.'
The video was initially posted by a Seattle-area Twitter account from the JCPenney location in Tukwila, about 10 miles south of the city.
A Seattle-area reporter did not identify anyone in the video but confirmed with local police that the attack took place on Sunday, October 1.
The location at the Southcenter Mall in Tukwila is one of just over 600 remaining in the United States.
A reporter said Tukwila Police described the naked man as 'someone in mental crisis' and adding that he was soon detained and taken to the hospital.

Hmmm.... so it was all situation normal up until the moment the naked man tried to touch their children?
Well, normally I go with presumption of innocence but then I forgot about the ol’ “naked man in the children’s department exception” (said with Maxwell Smart voice)
Always keep a sharp knife at hand. Or dull.
I see some efficiencies here. This saves time having to take off the first set of clothes to try something on, and then you can leave on what is going to be purchased.
Confront a naked man.

I was thinking he might have just gone to the JC Penney to buy some clothes, but then I read the second half of the headline.
There are still actual brick and mortar J.C. Penney stores?

You have to read down in the story before they tell you that Tukwila is near Seattle WA. Not even a mention of the state before then. Poor journalism.
