Differences in political party affiliation is the primary force dividing whether Americans are going to get the latest COVID-19 booster shot, a poll released Friday found.
Seventy percent of Democrats say they are likely to or have already received the updated shot, while 28 percent of Republicans say they will, the Ipsos poll found.
The survey found that as of early October, 6 percent of Americans report already having received the newest booster shot.
A majority of respondents, 67 percent, fall into the “very likely” or “not at all likely” categories, meaning many have already made up their minds about if they will receive the new COVID vaccine.
Seventy-one percent of Republicans say they are unlikely to get the new shot, and just 30 percent of Democrats say the same. Independents are fairly evenly split; 51 percent said they already have or plan on getting the booster, while 49 percent say they don’t have plans to.

I am going to have a good time in the coming years making fun of the college grads who think they are so, so superior to the “uneducated” boobs who didn’t get the vaxseem.
This isn’t sour grapes on my part for not having a degree. I don’t have a degree. I have six degrees. I am not exactly proud of that. Hindsight being 20/20...
But—I never had student loan debt.
And when my college-educated with one or two degrees stuck- up work colleagues brag about how smart they were to get vaxxed and how only stupid uneducated people don’t, I can and will point out how the really smart and really educated people like me who actually read the studies on the vaxseem intelligently decided against it.
I’ve had covid. It sucks but no worse than a medium flu or a bad cold. No need to risk a problematic and ineffective vax.
Like sheep being lead to the slaughter…

Independent, and Nope from me. I’m even saving money by not attending a convention or renting a hotel room for that convention because they want shots more recently than I got mine or a negative test result from 48 hours before arrival (not a home test kit). I don’t have time to get one of those.
So I’ll stay home and keep my money.
I’m fine with this.
