Frank James will spend the rest of his life in prison after receiving 10 life sentences Thursday in Brooklyn federal court, one sentence for each victim of the April 2022 shooting aboard a subway car at rush hour.
"I alone am responsible for that attack," James said in court. "They in no way deserved to have what happened to them."
James opened fire on a Manhattan-bound N train in Brooklyn on the morning of April 12, 2022, injuring 10 people.

No chance of death penalty in New York; probably the best outcome.

I think that’s more than his brother got so many years ago.
Actually I think his brother was executed, but not formally.

You can die just by getting on a subway train but not if you’re the one pulling the trigger. I guess big city conveniences have greater value than life itself for some.

James' attorney said his client did not receive the health care treatment he needed from the city. What? That entire cesspool city is deranged. Health care? Make me laugh.

I gather the theory is that all the victims’ families are treated equally. If a serial killer is merely tried for one case, then, even if he’s given a life sentence, the others may feel their loss is meaningless.
To: Skwor
He should be hanging in the public square, not rotting in a prison cell!

Don't take this statement as a sign of remorse:
"I alone am responsible for that attack," James said in court. "They in no way deserved to have what happened to them." From the article, he also said this: James, 64, said his actions were an attempt at "shining the light on certain conditions in the city where I was raised."
