Newsom’s selection of Butler comes at a moment of immense change in California’s political establishment, with millions of people still mourning the death of FeinsteinGet real! Hundreds, maybe thousands, not milions. The Democrat left didn't love her. Neither did whatever Democrat right is left. Republicans and Conservatives certainly didn't. And most Americans just don't care.
