Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, a GOP candidate for president in 2024, on Sunday went after former President Trump for not showing up to the GOP debates, suggesting Trump was “adopting Joe Biden’s basement strategy.”

“With all due respect to Donald Trump, we’re not going to beat the Democrats by adopting Joe Biden’s basement strategy,” DeSantis said in an interview on Fox News’s “Sunday Morning Futures.”

The debate was the time for the nation to hear the incoherent idiot. Trump wouldn’t shut up and allow him to get in a word. Democrats could not have hoped for a bizarre performance by Trump.

Trump made every mistake possible and Joe Biden got every break in 2020 and yes, that included hiding in the basement.

I don’t know what makes you so stupid but it really works.

Trumpian is name-calling? Nonsense, my Friend. And quite thin-skinned.

If someone called me a DeSantisonian I would not mind.

Now "...you so stupid..." does amount to name-calling. And it does not further your cause/agenda/whatever.

Nope, I'm skeptical on the topic. I've heard persuasive arguments on both sides (and seen some actual vote fraud security films on Tucker, back when he had a Fox show). It's possible that the election was stolen, It's unlikely to be a winning topic for the general election my FRiend.

It's of little electoral use to spend too much time on the topic, as many of the voters have other priorities. Also, the electorate has changed since the '16 and '24 elections. Many of my generation have, sadly, "gone west", and kids who were 10 years old in '16 will be able to vote in '24. They have had influences, many bad ones, that you and I never encountered, and have no idea just how wonderful life was until the Dems confiscated our national identity.

Mister is correct, my FRiend.

Referring to a former president by "president" is an honorific, and optional.

I voted for Trump in 2016 because of his attitude and behavior. I voted for him again in 2020 because of what he accomplished those four years while being attacked by the swamp and members of his own party. Trump isn't the type of guy who is going to sit in a corner with his tail between his legs, like a scolded puppy when someone accuses him of something or says something bad about him or his supporters. McCain learned that lesson.

I spent 40+ years voting for GOP pussies like George H. W. Bush, Bob Dole, George W. Bush, John McCain, and Mitt Romney, who wouldn't stand up, and defend themselves or the American people against the attacks from the media, the swamp, and the Democrats. And I sure as hell won't vote for someone who claims that voter fraud doesn't exist. People who won't vote for Trump, because they don't like his personality, or the things he says, are shallow at best. And if they can't praise him for anything he accomplished during his four years in office, then they're just plain stupid.

Well, with that, have a very nice day my fellow Conservative (and very special FRiend).

You haven’t figure out yet that we are in a fight to the death, have you?

You just want to rub your chin and cogitate and wonder.

Good luck with that.

Thousands of military age Chinese men are streaming across the southern border through the Darien Gap on a daily basis, and they are coming to exterminate legacy US citizens.

The Chinese Communist Party believes the indigenous US population came from China and that we stole the land from them, and they intend to take it back.

You like to flatter yourself and call yourself a “scientist” like a good Dunning-Kruger automaton, but the primary attribute of a scientist is curiosity, and you don’t have a curious bone in your narcissistic body.

And please file another complaint against me like you just did.

If I get banned permanently I’ll just be able to contribute all my money and efforts where people are actually trying to change things and putting their lives and freedom on the line to do it.

In the meantime, cogitate while they steal the next election and then you can say we can’t focus on 2024 and must look forward to the future while they take all your property and give you your CBDC allowance.

Me, file an abuse complaint? Well, when I read something such as...I am not your "FRiend," and am looking forward to your being gutted and BBQed by MS-13 as you so richly deserve., I'll report it every time, no matter from or to whom. It hurts Conservatives and FR.

I suggest that we take a step back and look for some common ground my (and I mean this) FRiend.

In my case, I have a family, kids (veterans all) and grandkids, and their future is my worry.

I do understand that you (and really all of us hereabouts) have serious concerns about the direction and future of our fine country.

My job one? Nominate an electable candidate for the GOP to win against the Dem nominee (it won't be Biden, IMO). It's not like we'll have a lot of other chances.

You and I disagree on this point. You think that Trump's record will get him elected, and I believe that the Dems will (and very effectively) make the election about Trump. In this case, Trump loses, and so do the down ballot elections and issues.

In essence, we are on the same (Conservative) team, we just disagree on who should be our quarterback, and who is more electable in the general.

And, BTW, I would never suggest that you (or anyone with whom I do not agree) be banned. We all have much to contribute and learn.

With regards and respect for your beliefs and your support for your primary candidate.

Let me ask you a sincere question:

Do you have the slightest bit of curiosity about why 5 swing states would (in an unprecedented move for even one swing state) simultaneously stop counting on election night with a Republican far in the lead, send all the poll-watchers home, resume counting when nobody was watching, then all come back online hours later with the Democrat far in the lead.

You seem to find that unworthy of further consideration, much less a red line that had been crossed.

Am I wrong about that?

Of course I do. I'm skeptical about the election results.

That said, the notion of Trump winning if the election is more secure is my chief interest.

I don't believe he does.

It's a new electorate, and DJT has chosen to provide the Dems with tons of oppo ad material (upon which, low info voters make decisions).

Thanks for your well written reply. Life goes on, people
change, governments change, and the individuals have to try
and adapt as best we can. That includes individuals, nation,
government, religion, freedoms, work, pleasure and many other
things.

We are allotted three score and ten and it’s up to each of us
to attempt as best we can to make it acceptable/agreeable to
all that it may concern. In my opinion people don’t keep in
mind the history of this land since Columbus sailed in 1492.
The natives have changed from the original to peoples from all
around the world. The natives were rounded up and put on land
as reservations. Males ruled, people were brought in form other
countries to do the grunt work from the house, farm, towns. Rules
began to being put in place for government, society, religion, and
many other things as time progressed. Who knows what the next
100 years will bring to this country and planet. Live it as best you
can. Have good one.
