Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, a GOP candidate for president in 2024, on Sunday went after former President Trump for not showing up to the GOP debates, suggesting Trump was “adopting Joe Biden’s basement strategy.”
“With all due respect to Donald Trump, we’re not going to beat the Democrats by adopting Joe Biden’s basement strategy,” DeSantis said in an interview on Fox News’s “Sunday Morning Futures.”

We have a serious insurance issue here where costs have doubled in the past two years and insurance companies are fleeing Florida. DeSantis has no actions or answers.

Exactly. DeSantis claims Trump lost a fair election where Biden got a massive record 81 million votes; Obama only got 67 million by fraud.

I have little doubt he could do the job. He is just done too much to make too many people strongly dislike him. And much of that is based on his personality which he showed in that debate. That’s not my fault.
Debates can surely help you lose an election.
Biden had been hiding in the basement the entire time. The debate was the time for the nation to hear the incoherent idiot. Trump wouldn’t shut up and allow him to get in a word. Democrats could not have hoped for a bizarre performance by Trump.
