A BOY of 15 has been killed in a giant explosion feared to have been triggered by detonating electric car batteries.

At least 163 were also injured following the huge blast in a customs warehouse near Tashkent Airport in Uzbekistan in the early hours, which was felt up to 20 miles away.

Shocking footage shows the explosion at 2.43am local time, which caused damage to hundreds of houses and other buildings over a vast area.

Batteries for electric cars exploded at the airport warehouse, it is understood.

Dozens of ambulances ferried the wounded to hospitals and at least five children suffered wounds from shattered glass.

A 15-year-old boy died after a frame collapsed on his head due to the explosion.

It is unclear how many people were in the warehouse when it exploded.

Let's see...

...the corrupt unconstitutional govnet illegally

-- makes medically unsound demands that people take the Wuhan vaccine from which many are now dying, and then

-- pushes hard for electric vehicles which are catching fire and blowing up killing or stranding many others.

Government: NO REASON OR ACCOUNTABLITITY!!!!!!

I always assumed this EV push was to accommodate the 15 minutes cities. If the vehicles don’t go more than a few miles, then people might accept their geographical restrictions with less fuss.

[Yes indeed! And parked right next to my gas lawn mower, trimmer, blower and chain saw!! Oh and my gas powered Suburban!]

Nothing like collateral damage.

It is Uzbekistan.

Funny I have not heard of anything like these explosions anywhere else on the planet from Electric Vehicle batteries.

Fires - yes - massive explosions? I do not recall them. Perhaps someone can point to some other example of massive explosions of EV batteries.

Explosions in a third world country... yes there are plenty of those involved in war or terrorism, using conventional explosives.

Ever notice these battery ‘new technologies’: quicker charges, longer mileage, longer lasting life, and safer use, I have been posting for years NEVER SEEM TO COME TO MARKET?.............

My 48 volt electric bicycle battery that can zoom me along at 30MPH for 25 miles (50 if I pedal at pace) requires careful battery management. They cannot be left charging unobserved. I unlatch it and bring it inside, charging it on the kitchen counter. Do not charge a wet or damp battery casing. The steam will explode the battery. If I’ve been riding in rain, I have a 5 gallon pail of desiccant I shove the battery into for 24 hours before lighting the fuse (charging it).

My son had a thumb size lithium battery short during charging in his garage. It exploded and caught some rags nearby to ignite. It almost burned his house to the ground.

Shouldn’t we be sending EVs to Ukraine so the Ukes can drop them from drones on advancing Russians?

Can you be cars be used as a catalyst for terrorist bombing? Is that what we’re reading here? Combined that with a self driving car, the possibilities are sobering.

“I’m starting to wonder if the whole EV push is actually connected more to the depopulation agenda than the fake green energy agenda.”

It’s all part of the same evil that seeks to create chaos, cause deaths, and yes, depopulate the planet. And there are enough insane people out there that are buying into that evil.

I have two jobs so would never be able to fiddle around with an EV like that. Seems like a lot of time taken up.

I don’t really follow the EV news much. I’ve seen enough of them burst into flames that I’d never consider one. There’s just nothing more efficient, available, easy and plentiful than good ol’ gasoline. As long as we have people in office who realize this, we’ll be fine.

A 15 year-old boy in a warehouse at 2am?

These leftist virtue-signalling clowns need child and slave labor to make their “green dreams” come true.

Agreed. But I enjoy riding my bicycle in nice weather. My battery has lasted nine years now. I live in a bad city and you sometimes can’t afford to be slow.
