Americans are feeling weary that the pandemic might not be as over as they once believed, and a growing number of Republicans have expressed concern that the coronavirus is indeed getting worse.
According to a new Gallup poll, 44 percent of Democrats feel the situation is getting worse, up from 6 percent this June. The sentiment also grew among Republicans from just 3 to 16 percent in the same time period.
"I think that because there was a new variant that emerged, the 'newness' and the uncertainty of the new variant's virulence and severity likely caused an uptick of concern," Mudry told Newsweek. Overall, 30 percent of those surveyed said the coronavirus situation is getting worse, and 27 percent worry about getting infected themselves.
This marks a slight increase from last quarter but is still far below the rates of coronavirus anxiety first experienced during the pandemic.
Concerns over the coronavirus are likely reemerging because of the new variant Eris, said Jessica Mudry, an associate professor in public health communication at Toronto Metropolitan University.

If you’re referring to the at-home tests, I agree. Which is why I went for the PCR test. You can argue reliability of it all you want, it’s at least “more reliable” than the at-home test is.

My older sister, twice vaxxed and doubly boosted, has gotten CoVid 3 times since last fall. None of her cases have been serious (ie. needing hospitalization), and each bout has been shorter. Her last case was late August / early September (around Labor Day) when I was with her. She was FINE two days after testing positive. Completely fine. It is becoming more harmless with each mutation. Oh, and I believe she is very immune suppressed. She gets other viruses at the drop of a hat, too. She’s not a healthy person.
Look at who the Republican donors are. That should give us an indication.
Well - we scared, shamed and coerced millions of people to take a shot that any medical professional knows takes at least 10 years for safety trials.
Heck- skipped animal trials due to fear mongering. We have never made a successful vaccine for a corona virus - even this one until they changed the definition to -
“You are more likely to get the disease with the injection, but it would have been worse..”
I saw no prominent medical professionals even scratch their head at this absurdity.
Make no mistake - the BS is not over. People are dying and not from some corona virus.
