Megyn Kelly reacted over the weekend to a new survey that found nearly half of Democrats support limiting freedom of speech.
“This is what we’re up against,” Kelly wrote on the social media platform X — linking to a RealClearPolitics survey which showed a startlingly high number of Democrats backing censorship
According to the survey, 47% of Democrats say that speech should be legal “only under certain circumstances.” A slim majority of Democrats (53%) agreed that speech should be legal under any circumstances while a third of Democrats (34%) think Americans have “too much freedom,” according to the poll.

I’m certainly biased in my view of 2024. But you either get to support Biden or Trump. DeSantis is ... what? ... 50 points behind Trump? He’s not a factor. So, you either support Trump — really, really hard. Or you get stuck with Biden, or whomever they shove in there to replace Joe.
Don’t like censorship? Support Trump -— really, really hard. People like Megyn Kelly, I think, don’t get that. The choice doesn’t seem difficult to me. You either like censorship or else you work tirelessly to tell people that Trump is a stupendously excellent choice for president. Don’t play fair. Don’t play objective. Don’t play unbiased. Push for Trump — really, really hard.
Or else accept the censorship you chose. And the wars. And the inflation. And the demographic nightmare. And the crime. And the end of the cities. You get to take responsibility for the end of our civilization. Unless you push for Trump — really, really hard.
Have a lifelong Dem family friend who recently ranted about all of the homo/illegal invasion/massive shoplifting, etc taking place (has *finally* had enough)....and, actually said, “Where do their rights end, and, mine begin?”
Gives me a bit of hope, with some of these libs.

What those Democrats really think is that *conservative* Americans have too much freedom. It’s still okay for men to go into women’s locker rooms, for heroin addicts to shoot up on sidewalks, etc. Freedom!
But owning a rifle or deciding how your child is to be educated, that’s too much freedom.
Revolutions have been fought over things like this. I have zero problem dispatching anyone that denies my rights.
