President Joe Biden reportedly told Volodymyr Zelensky during a White House meeting this week that the U.S. will send Ukraine long-range ATACMS missiles, amid growing questions about the continued funding of the war.
In addition to the $325 million military aid package, Biden reportedly pledged during a meeting with Zelensky on Thursday to supply the war-torn country with ATACMS missiles. The long-range missiles, which can hit targets up to 190 miles away, would represent a significant upgrade for the Ukrainian forces, which currently only have missiles capable of striking at a range of around 150 miles.

Why are we taxpayers even paying for Congress anymore? Everything seems to be run through the executive branch and then placing compromised judges in the federal courts to uphold the unconstitutional powers Biden’s handlers now yield.
Are we giving them thermobaric bombs? i.e. Fuel-Air explosives?
I have heard these are terrible weapons to be in the path of. I believe the Russians use them regularly and if we could give the Ukes these AND the means to deliver them over targets, we could change the dynamic of this war.
You want a nuke dropped on you and your family? This is the type escalation that will cause that.
That is definitely a change in dynamics and incredibly stupid.
We’re supposed to be furnishing only defensive weapons...how did we get here??
It’s $850K per missile not counting the cost of the launch system. And then there is the cost of training.
So 10% is going to be a big number.
desertsolitaire's home after the dynamics were changed in Biden's Ukrainian foreign policy failure.
To be operated by Ukraine - or NATO? The recent Sevastopol attack seems beyond the capability of the current Ukraine military. Draw your own conclusions.
They have a Captain Ahab obsession with getting rid of Putin.
The missiles won't be operated by Ukrainians. Maybe by people in Ukrainian uniforms, but they won't be Ukrainians.
Its smart for Ukraine to claim this publicly, because Biden doesn’t remember what happened 5 minutes ago, and the world knows it.
We can even be very cynical and ignore the moral repugnancy and corruption of the USA’s involvement in Ukraine, from promoting globohomo to Hunter Biden’s corruption, to the very dangerous effects its had on USA’s own politics with the fake Trump Russia-gate and the Trump’s ridiculous impeachment when he asked about Biden’s crimes
Strategically, its been ANOTHER absolute neocon BLUNDER. What has been achieved? The population of Ukraine has been halved, Russia has taken 20% of its territory, the war has killed 500K Ukrainians, Russia is now probably the strongest military in the world, they’ve exposed flaws in Western weapons, and the BRICS nations are aligning against us.
Its sheer stupidity all around for neocons and their zeeper supporters.
“The missiles won’t be operated by Ukrainians. Maybe by people in Ukrainian uniforms, but they won’t be Ukrainians.”
Agree, we tried letting the Ukrainians operate a Patriot System next to Kiev...didn’t end very well.
Maybe I missed it, but when did we officially declare war against Russia? Seems to be that providing long-range missiles and potentially personnel to operate those missiles is an act of war.
I noticed that, but I'll bet dems are going to try to make Biden (or whoever runs) a "war hero." Yes, it's dumb but a lot of them bought the "moderate Joe" message in 2020.
Blowing up the gas pipelines was an act of war against both Russia and Germany. Just one of many acts of war. Thank God Putin is in power. Most others would have lsunched nukes st us by now.
ICBMs next. That will be a Game Changer.
.
Biden would start WWIII for a Porsche for his grandson.
You know he’d go a long way to run out more statutes of limitations on his and Hunter’s $50 Million - and the Intel Assessments he had been collecting (Classified Docs).
