Special counsel Jack Smith, who cut his teeth prosecuting war crimes at The Hague, has tapped his deputy from those prosecutions to help him in the investigations of former President Donald Trump, reported POLITICO on Friday.
"Alex Whiting worked alongside Smith for three years, helping prosecute crimes against humanity that occurred in Kosovo in the late 1990s," reported Kyle Cheney. "The Yale-educated attorney also worked as a prosecutor with the International Criminal Court from 2010 to 2013. He has taught law classes at Harvard since 2007 as well, hired as an assistant professor by then-Dean Elena Kagan — now a Supreme Court justice — and rising to a visiting professorship in 2013."
The role Whiting is performing for the special counsel is not currently known; however, according to the report, he has been seen multiple times this week at the district courthouse in Washington, D.C.

I hit send too soon and forgot to proofread. The beginning of that post was supposed to say, if everything each one of us did in our entire life was exposed to the world, we would all end up in prison. They’re trying to bring that into reality in the case of Donald trump. They desperately want to find something, anything that can condemn him.
I think that’s why I take all this persecution of trump from legal organizations personally. This could be used against me. This could be used against all of us.

That is true for 99% of us, but Trump is in that 1%. Think about it; they went through his tax records, his entire personal life, prosecuted people to try to get them turn on
him, had moles in his business and campaign, and still could not come up with one legitimate charge. All this crap they’re charging him with is made up, fantasy BS. All of it. Even I’m amazed at how clean he truly must be.

The Federal Register is approximately 80,000 pages and lists the laws by which this Republic is supposed to be ruled (The “Rule of Law” under a Constitutional Republic)
I have read that at any time, any given citizen is in violation of up to five laws that may be found in the Federal Register.
When the prosecution of laws enters the political realm and is used as a weapon against the opponents of those in power instead of an adherence to the universal application of laws constituting the operation of a Constitutional Republic, we are no longer the United States of America.
We are the Soviet Union, where Beria once said: “Show me the man, and I’ll show you the crime.”
As Trump is finding out, and the J-6 prisoners have found out.

Smiths antics make his optics get worse everyday and Trump becomes a martyr with each gimmick. Its good to remember this case is a dog and hes trying everything in his power to bring a shine to it.

Trump has his faults, but it’s refreshing to know he is a target, not only from the left, but also from the establishment class who present themselves as “conservative”, but beneath the cloak lies ravenous wolves gnawing their way into the henhouse.
These same wolves in sheep’s clothing also have their choices in candidates for which they fund raise and promote on the drive by media outlets.

Am I right ; have the wheels fallen off Willis prosecution in GA with Powell and Chesbrough separated? Doesn’t this put a lot of headwind against Smith’s case, and even ripple effect as Epps plea bargain a desperate move by DOJ to prevent his testimony in Jan 6 defendant’s case?
