A press event will be held today at 11:00 a.m. to announce the unsealing of an indictment charging Robert Menendez, U.S. Senator from New Jersey, and his wife, Nadine Menendez, with bribery offenses in connection with their corrupt relationship with three New Jersey businessmen.
New Jersey. Except for a four-month-long Republican appointment, NJ senators have been Ds since 1982.
Why haven’t they filed for Civil Asset Forfeiture yet?? It appears that all his assets are fruits of a Criminal Enterprise.
He’ll get even more “votes” in his next reelection race than he did in the last one. Bet on it.

Indicted a Senator, I’d say that’s a good start. There’s plenty more in both houses to indict next.

I have a different take. Since they are all on the take, and he is a Democrat, what egregious offense has he committed against the Ruling Class (Obama) that resulted in him actually being indicted?
Yes. Will he? Who knows. Depends on how democrats treat this.

I remember reading the book about George Jung. He was one of the first major US cocaine trafficers to bring in Pablo Escobar’s product. His true life endeavors were portrayed by Johnny Depp in the movie “Blow”.
