Ukrainian armoured vehicles have smashed through a gap in Russian defences on the Zaporizhzhia front, it has been reported.
Eight-wheeled Stryker and tracked Marder Infantry Fighting Vehicles were seen behind Russian tank traps and dragon's teeth near Verbove - suggesting a potential Ukrainian tactical breakthrough in the area.
Russia analyst for The Institute for the Study of War, George Barros, said the news could mean Kyiv was preparing for another big push.

Russia has already paid 169 billion dollars for its botched Ukraine invasion! For Russia small economy that is a MASSIVE amount.
Ukrainians are showing the world that a border MEANS something.
They show the word that they don’t accept INVADERS taking their land and homes. They fight, no matter what. With or without Western help.
In America though... we have opened our borders. We let the invaders in, willingly.

Russia is strictly incapable of taking more of Ukraine right now. Thats why they dug in with endless trenches, and two million mines... They just pray to not lose too much of what they have already stolen.
However... Ukraine has already taken back over 50% of the land area Russian initially had manage to take.
SO.. it doesn’t look good for Russia at all.
They will be forced to do another highly unpopular Russian mobilization again, drafting thousands more of poor Russians to end their lives for the Kremlin’s big “Lebensraum” agenda.

That was land that Russia voluntarily vacated after they advanced on it. It’s not much of a victory to take over empty land.
