Ukrainian armoured vehicles have smashed through a gap in Russian defences on the Zaporizhzhia front, it has been reported.
Eight-wheeled Stryker and tracked Marder Infantry Fighting Vehicles were seen behind Russian tank traps and dragon's teeth near Verbove - suggesting a potential Ukrainian tactical breakthrough in the area.
Russia analyst for The Institute for the Study of War, George Barros, said the news could mean Kyiv was preparing for another big push.

You mean for more US tax dollar funding.
Another glorious Ukrainian victory!
How many times have we heard this nonsense?
LOL, sure it is.
Putin also evacuated the remaining rust bucket Black Sea fleet from Sevastopol Crimea.
It’s Autumn and when is the Spring offensive supposed to happen? It’s pure propaganda designed to give a glimmer of hope to idiots willing to depart with their tax dollars and place their children and grandchildren further in debt. There still are NO American interests in Ukraine. Eff these grifting POSs.
Remember back to December 1944, the Germans broke thru the US lines in the Ardennes Forrest, the Battle of Bulge began and ultimately ended Germany’s ability to fight.
My point, let’s suppose this article is true and Ukraine has broken thru, do they have anywhere near the resources to sustain a break thru, considering Russians are on all sides, probably pounding them with artillery.
Enjoy the last flurry of propaganda. Zelensky and the Ukraine project are over.
> How many times have we heard this nonsense?
This time it is “for sure”. They are going to break through and reach Moscow.
What is this 'Kyiv' they are referring to? Did he city mobilize?
a humorous activity is to go to Google News and adjust the time frame to any random month in the past 18 months and enter the words “Russian defeat”.
Month after month there are stories of Ukranian victories and Russian defeat.
It’s basically Russian Defeat, Russian Defeat, Russian Defeat, Russian Defeat, Russian Defeat, Russian Defeat, Russian Defeat,
Russia Annexes part of Ukraine
Russian Defeat, Russian Defeat, Russian Defeat....
Go away. No more US tax dollars 💵 for you thieves!
I had the SAME THOUGHT. Intentionally let the Ukes in making an advance similar to The Bulge, and then pinch it off like a zit and obliterate everything and everyone that will be trapped.
The Ukes either sustain a breakthrough or they get obliterated. If the latter, what a senseless waste of lives.
What Black Sea fleet doink?
No one knows what doink means. Is it a word used by your video gamer friends?
On the other hand, I haven't heard anyone, for quite some while, say that Russian forces are about to finally begin their big push. Instead, news indicates that Russia may be incapable of further significant offensive actions.
News such as the reduction of forces near the Finnish border.
Very near to where the current fighting is taking place, in 1944 the Russians pushed a bulge into the German lines inviting the Germans to pinch it off and obliterate the Russian army in that area.
The Russians knew what was about to happen and built similar defensive lines to what they have today in Ukraine, in the largest armored battle in world history the Battle of Kursk began and ultimately ended the ability of the Germans to take the offensive on the Eastern Front.
Putin’s navy not stronk.
