One of former President Trump’s assistants reportedly told federal investigators Trump wrote to-do lists on the backs of classified documents, according to an ABC News report.
ABC News, citing sources familiar with the matter, reported former Trump aide Molly Michael told investigators the former president wrote requests or tasks for her on the back of notecards, which she later realized were White House documents “with visible classification markings.”
The documents were reportedly used to brief the former president about international matters and phone calls with foreign leaders, ABC News reported. Sources familiar with the matter told ABC News the notecards with classification markings were found during the FBI’s search of Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida last year, but they were not taken by the FBI.
Michael reportedly said she went to Mar-a-Lago a day after the search and found the documents under a drawer organizer and transferred them to the FBI the same day, sources told ABC news.
According to the sources, Michael detailed to investigators her increased concerns over how Trump handled the multiple requests from the National Archives to return the documents to the White House.
The sources said Trump allegedly told Michael, “You don’t know anything about the boxes,” after hearing the FBI wanted to interview his former aide last year.

Uh, this is not illegal nor out of the ordinary to make notes on reports.
Waste not, want not.
so, were they note cards, documents or what? authors who write stories using multiple words for one thing are either stupid or lying.
If the FIBs didn’t take the stuff when they pulled the MarLago framing raid, I doubt they viewed any of it as incriminating, since that was their primary mission/goal.
Seriously? 🙄
The Hill
Nothing is true from their mouth.. They have nothing to say that matters, until justice takes the Biden family to task.. Admitting the crimes they have committed, And holding them accountable.
It would be more than setting the best example, although that is a measure of character and understanding of the reason for classification.
It's also the realization that every person in the loop of a classified document distribution is a link, and the chain can be violated at any level.
Trump does not, and apparently never will take seriously the protection of classified information.
He was surrounded by Judas who not only ratted him up but set him up. Just like the J6 operation that the Uni-party concocted to set up innocent Americas along with President Trump.
Remember when Haberman showed pics of torn up pieces of “classified” paper that supposedly Trump tried to flush down the crapper? Yeah...this has the credibility of that claim......
This is obviously a leak from Jack Smith’s office as he argues Trump can’t say anything in his own defense.
show us the questionable item!
We Deplorables are from Missourr, show us!!
Suspect everything near the President is marked classified as a matter of routine. My suspicion is partly grounded in my experience years ago writing software for the navy in an office where everything was marked as classified as a matter of routine even though very little of it had anything sensitive or in some cases much of anything at all on the page. Maybe the end of a sentence about a generic mundane matter or the like.
As president, Trump could declassify anything he wants anytime he wants - with the lone exception of how to build a nuclear bomb.
Who cares if something was “classified”. A zillion things are “classified”. Its ridiculous and unnecessary.
But he declassified them first, brah. //sarcasm
