Right. There was an article posted here at FR a few weeks back about a fat man who did exactly that. He purchased two seats for his comfort and anyone sitting next to him.
Well it turned out that some doofus who did not plan ahead asked the fat guy if he wouldn’t mind trading seats so the doofus and his family could sit together. “No.”
The doofus caused a scene, but lost. Sentiment on FR was solidly in favor of the fat guy.
