Republican infighting reached new heights this week as House Speaker Kevin McCarthy engaged in a war of words with conservative hard-liners on his right flank.
Republicans in the Senate watched their counterparts in the House with dismay as internal squabbles over spending put McCarthy’s future as speaker in doubt and increased the odds of a government shutdown at the end of the month.
“It’s a shitshow in the House. It’s always a shitshow in the House,” Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) said. “Eventually, what’s going to happen is a government shutdown, [and it] will not go well for us.”
Rep. Steve Womack (R-Ark.) was equally blunt about the situation during an interview with NBC: “It’s an unmitigated disaster right now on the majority side.”
“I’m fearful of what this leads to,” Womack added.

It’s real simple. McCarthy became Speaker on the promise to do several things, the most important of which was to pass appropriation bills under regular order.
Our government just busted through $33 Trillion in debt. $1 Trillion was added in the last 90 days. McCarthy wants a continuing resolution to continue Nancy Pelosi’s and Joe Biden’s uncontrolled spending. That will be replaced by yet another omnibus bill in the dark of the night. McCarthy is full onboard with Bidenomics and the financial destruction of every hardworking American.
The government needs to be shuttered until spending is fixed. McCarthy needs to be booted from the speakership. He’s not a RINO, he’s an eff’n Democrat commie. California needs to primary his ass and he never should be heard from again. He can attend family matters with his faggot wife, Frank Luntz.

My understanding is that under current House rules, it takes only one person to make the motion. The removal resolution then would go to the House floor. McCarthy would need help from Democrats to remain speaker. The optics of that are not good. I doubt if McCarthy would step down. That shows how committed he is to remaining in power and how committed he is to the destruction of America.

Vote on vacating the chair TODAY. McCarthy isn’t going to wake up tomorrow and act differently, time to move on. Proper budget contingent on stopping the invasion, impeachment ASAP, election reform, etc. Congress should start acting like serious men who love this country.

Call your congressman. This battle needs to be won. If it isn’t, we may as well cede Congress and the entire government to the Democrats. There really is no difference between Republicans and Democrats when Republicans continue Democrats spending and programs. That is the real uniparty.
The problem the GOP faces is who else to nominate that can get 218 votes. There is no conservative that can get to 218. The majority of Republican reps are moderates. The conservative caucus is about 50 reps.

Republicans need to wake up and man up, and realize they’re really the only alternative at this point to the Marxism which has taken hold of this government. That might take a miracle, but it’s essential. This coming election year truly is the most critical in our history.

My opinion: If it's a straight majority vote then there are enough RINOs who will support McCarthy that there won't be enough votes in the GOP caucus to remove him.
Gloves have to come off when dealing with the weaklings in the GOP. Now or never...the country hangs in the balance.
I really don’t care. McCarthy needs to be destroyed. Every single moderate needs to get with the program or be destroyed. That’s the power the several dozen real Republicans have. They just need to stand strong. If McCarthy is removed, there is no Speaker until a new Speaker is elected. Until there is a new Speaker there is no CR, there’s not a single bill to go to the House floor. Only the Speaker can bring legislation to the floor for a vote. If there’s no Speaker by October 1, then government will shutdown. I’m fine with that. Shut it all down. These pussy moderate Republicans will vote for a real conservative for Speaker because they are scared shitless about shuttering government. Use their fear against them.
