Ukraine reported on Monday its troops had recaptured more territory on the eastern front and advanced in the south in its military counteroffensive against Russian forces.
Deputy Defence Minister Hanna Maliar said Kyiv's forces had retaken two square km (0.77 square mile) of land in the past week around the shattered eastern city of Bakhmut, which was captured by Russian troops in May after months of fighting.
Ukraine reported on Monday its troops had recaptured more territory on the eastern front and advanced in the south in its military counteroffensive against Russian forces.
Overall, Ukraine regained more than 260 square km (100 square miles) in the south during the counteroffensive, she said.
During its three-month-old counteroffensive, Ukraine has reported slow, steady progress against entrenched Russian positions, retaking a string of villages and advancing on the flanks of Bakhmut, but taking no major settlements.

Slowly making their way to Tokmak. If and when the Ukrainians take that area the entire Russian position in Crimea and area to the west of Tokmak becomes very problematic.

Unlike earlier in the war there is plenty of drone video proving heavy losses for Ukr (well Russ as well).
The Indonesian website has probably been averaging 10 new videos per day. For months! How much action isnt recorded (lots) how many are not shown as poor recording etc (also lots). All Ukr losses.

Much of what appears on Russian social media is steered by the government’s trolls. Lately, there has been much talk about North Korea attacking America and thus Russia would be free from retaliation. They were even joking about a North Korean submarine going up the Hudson. All of this follows the era where even the speaker of the Duma was saying it was time to “reverse the illegal transfer of Alaska.” Such talk was very common on Russian social media. Of course, not all Russians buy into such FSB-spawned baloney.

Russia is not our enemy. We have made ourselves Russia’s enemy. Inviting Ukraine to NATO ( a red line for Putin as he has said many times in the past). Installing Zelensky as leader of Ukraine (CIA pick). And lending material support in arms and (sadly) our tax dollars. You people are delusional and are inviting WW3 on the world. When/if it happens look your children and grandchildren and tell them you are sorry and you were wrong.
No one is arguing heavy losses, but Travis coming up with ridiculous 400,000 dead just in this offensive is ridiculous.
