Also FTA.....
The Senate also voted to dismiss four impeachment articles that werenât taken up at the trial. It clears the way for Paxton to reclaim his role as Texasâ top lawyer, more than three months after his stunning impeachment in the Texas House forced him to temporarily step aside.
The outcome far from ends Paxtonâs troubles. He still faces trial on felony securities fraud charges, remains under a separate FBI investigation and is in jeopardy of losing his ability to practice law in Texas because of his baseless attempts to overturn the 2020 election.
The jury of 30 senators spent about eight hours deliberating behind closed doors before emerging for the historic vote.

We need the names of any Republican who voted against Paxton. The house was raked over the coal in the statement of the Lt Governor!

I guess President Trump’s view of this served as a laxative to many of the Republican senators regarding this matter.
No time for the circular firing squad IMHO.

So does this mean Ken Paxton is reinstated as AG of TX?
I’m super happy to hear of this outcome. It was a Bush kangaroo event from day one. Pay back should be coming forthwith.

YES!
This is a good ending to a really snaky impeachment trial. Very much like what President Trump is fighting. All lies, but no one will expose it.

Paxton should counter sue for punitive damages and start criminal conspiracy investigations. If the Bushes get burned then that is just WAY TOO BAD.
