(NEXSTAR) – 2022 was a rough year for many Americans, newly released U.S. Census Bureau data indicates.
While the median household income climbed in five states, far more saw that metric drop last year. Connecticut, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Vermont, Virginia, and Wisconsin all saw household income take a dip in 2022.

Most of those are Demonrat-controlled states that got poorer.

Most are Rat Party cesspools. That could bode well for next year.

One of the states with an increase wa Delaware. I’m thinking if you took the Biden family increase in income out of the equation there would have been a net decrease.

From the article: "Alabama, Alaska, Delaware, Florida, and Utah were the lucky five states where the median family saw income grow."
Luck ain't got nuthin' ta do with it, honey. Four of those states are doing things right. The other one is benefitting from grift.

And that’s probably denominated in dollars with no correction for inflation.

It would, if we had honest elections. Consider who counts the votes in those states.

There are only a few states were voter fraud is really worthwhile. Take Massachusetts for example. I have no problem believing that 65% of voters actually did vote for The Big Guy. Michigan and Pennsylvania,OTOH,are probably different. And Georgia is *surely* different.

Let’s not talk about the increase in property taxes!!!!! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

“The nation’s capital got the honor of having the highest median household in the country: $101,027.”
I racked my brain trying to think of any major manufacturing plants in Washington DC. I then racked my brain trying to think of the major corporations headquartered in Washington DC. In not near.
I guess I am at a loss as to how the average income is so high in an area with no industry.
All I can comeup with is, Washington DC must be the headquarters of most of the nation’s Crime Famlies.

That’s a bingo! This is the result of wealthier people moving to a freer state and probably escaping blue cities.
