New South Carolina polling shows fourth-place Ron DeSantis with single digit support.
The Washington Post commissioned the survey of 506 Republicans, conducted between Sept. 7 and Sept. 11. It finds DeSantis at 9%, behind former President Donald Trump (46%), former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley (18%) and U.S. Sen. Tim Scott (10%). No other candidate has more than 5% support.
DeSantis is the top second choice, at 21%, followed by Haley (16%), Scott (15%), Vivek Ramaswamy (9%) and Trump (7%).
DeSantis has said he’s a “great candidate” for South Carolina and has suggested that despite still being Governor of a different state, he may sign a sublease in South Carolina to make the sale to the state’s Republicans. This is just the latest poll showing him having difficulty, however.

DeSantis exemplifies pussy men in America. He’s getting his ass kicked by a weak minded woman. DeSantis is no leader and no one wants to follow. His political career is dead.

There is NO substitute this time for the MAGA/KAG Patriot America-First current-CIC candidate for POTUS.
They won’t go after each other because their target is Trump so they’ll all continue to split the vote.
That would be expected. That is Haley and Scotts home turf. It’d be like saying in FL that Haley is running at 2%. She’s going down in flames.

On the national stage we aren’t certain what causes he is fighting for. Ukraine isn’t one of them in my book. Making big donors happy always come first because you owe them.
Fraternizing with the Shrubs and McCains isn’t too good either.
Let’s ignore Florida
That is actually an incredibly good poll for DeSantis. First, the popularity contest shows the home state candidates do well, as expected. Second, that follow up poll shows the reality check, DeSantis is first and Trump is last. Even second choice, Trump fairs worse than the home state candidates.

There are many states and many people aren’t in tune to Governors in states they don’t reside in. So yes, this is a POTUS race, not a Governor race.
Just the way it is.
I don’t value early-stage polls highly.
What matters is what they say, do and the legal clarification of natural born.
I will not be voting for either Nikki Haley or Vivek Ramaswamy unless I’m sure they can legally be President.
DeSantis needs to show he is for peace every bit as much as Trump.
