Eggs, Hot Dogs, Bagged Salad & Butter
Happy Days ARE Here Again! Ya-hoooooo!
Bud Light is almost free, so there’s that.
I’m going to add that Frozen Foodstuffs are up so drastically BECAUSE OF THE PRICE OF OIL. It takes a lot of electricity to keep things cool. Takes a lot of fuel to power electric coolers and refrigerated shipping trucks.
LOL!
Funny! But related: I haven’t seen any change in the price of beer since the plandemic. At least nowhere near the increases in other commodity items. It’s almost as if the government wanted to keep people drunk and happy.
Gasoline is up.
on another note pot is great! but heaven help you if smoking tobacco is becoming verboten and oh my gosh.....the EVEIL MENTHOL CIGARETTES!
I cant get my buzz on just dtinking Colt 45 i need my Newports😁😁😆😆
I’m amazed at how eggs have tanked back down to less than $1.25 a dozen.
I’m able to get steaks for $7.99 a lb now and again, chicken for under $1 a lb bone in, $2.50 for boneless chicken breasts.
I have not experienced an increase in frozen veggies they never seem to move from 99 cents a bag.
Soda and Gatorade prices are absurd. Fortunately the store nearest me offers buy one get one free alternating weeks of Coke and Pepsi products so I don’t really mind. Discount Gatorade never happens and I miss it.
I would miss my $9 more for a 6 pack of Gatorade.
LOUIS WINTHORPE III: Pork bellies. I have a hunch something very exciting is going to happen in the pork belly market this morning.
Why are juice and drinks up so much?
Yeah but it makes you go gay.
Stock up on that $7.99/lb beef. Cattle inventory lowest since 1962. Drought affected feed supply.
Gas prices started going up when I was a kid and a friend of my Dad’s who was a trucker said “Stock up on food big time. Prices are gonna skyrocket.”
So when Biden killed our energy industry, I plugged in the downstairs freezer and shopped like crazy.
Now I spend a few hours every week checking out what’s on sale at the grocery stores near my house or work. Also only buying what I need, not what I want (usually!)
Aldi, Lidl and Food Lion usually have the best prices. (50¢ bread loaves at Aldi! And it taste fine.)
Mortimer Duke - “Commodities are agricultural products... like coffee that you had for breakfast... wheat, which is used to make bread... pork bellies, which is used to make bacon, which you might find in a ‘bacon and lettuce and tomato’ sandwich.”
A lot cheaper at the food banks.
.
Yeah they’re practically giving away eggs now. So weird from almost 7 bucks a dozen to 99 cents in such a short time.
Man, this reads about like the USSR propaganda: Tractor sales are up, therefore food production is higher. No one is starving!
All lies food prices are still as high as July.
I do the same. If it’s a bargain and I can freeze it, I buy it. I’ve also found if I go to my local grocer (Piggly Wiggly - SHOP THE PIG!) on Sunday mid-morning, there’s a lot of marked down stuff, too. ;)
