The California state legislature passed a bill Tuesday that would require large companies to disclose their estimated carbon emissions. It is the first bill of its kind, and could lead to similar legislation being passed in other states.
The bill, SB253 by Sen. Scott Wiener, D-San Francisco, would make California the first state to require such disclosures from companies that operate in the state if their annual revenue exceeds $1 billion.

In other words, California is begging louder for its wealth producing companies to leave the state.

FReeper ebb tide couldn’t be reached for comment to see how this issue could be used to further divide Catholics and Protestants while all along us Christians need to stick together against the unified hedonist Dims.

Scott Wiener, of course. There’s nothing more obnoxious than a politically energetic homosexual.

Yes, you are correct!
But, let’s also make note that it is all but guaranteed that any CEO in the world contemplating establishing an office or factory in California will read this article and say “Not No, but hell no” and go to Texas or Florida.

Ah, lefties.
This will start with big companies. It will move to small companies. It will then move to farms, and we can say goodbye to animal husbandry. Before it’s done, the dragnet will sweep up pets and then us. How much CO2 have you emitted today, comrade? Have you exceeded your step and exercise allotment?

If you're looking for examples of horrible laws in CA, the easiest keyword is Scott Wiener as an author/sponsor. Of course, he doesn't deserve all of the blame. The assembly, senate and governor have to approve it.
My late cousin Steve's wife made a trip to CA this week. She said CA is completely unrecognizable compared to the state she left 52 years ago. She couldn't leave fast enough.

"California Legislature Passes Bill Requiring Firms to Report Carbon Emissions"
So is State of California going to set the example for carbon emissions reporting by reporting CO2 exhaled by millions of illegal immigrants that it is giving sanctuary to at taxpayers' expense, also the carbon footprints of the fossil fuel vehicles that California gives licenses to illegals to drive?

Well, I think we now have a legitimate use for AI - answering BS government requests for info and reports with BS. It should be a huge market. And since it was generated by a machine you cannot charge a human with providing false or misleading information to the government.
