Former President Donald Trump is leading President Joe Biden in a head-to-head matchup in the swing state of North Carolina, a ForwardCarolina/Change Research survey released this week found.

The survey asked residents, “If the 2024 election for president were held today, and the candidates were the following, who would you vote for?”

The survey gave respondents two choices: Trump or Biden.

Overall, Trump leads Biden by four points, garnering 46 percent to Biden’s 42 percent. Another 12 percent remain unsure. Trump’s lead is outside the survey’s ± 3.6 percent margin of error.

The survey also asked respondents who they supported in the 2020 election, and 46 percent said they supported Trump, while 45 percent said the same of Biden. Another two percent said Libertarian Jo Jorgensen, and seven percent did not vote. However, when asked to reveal how motivated they are to vote in 2024 on a scale of one to ten, ten being “extremely motivated,” 84 percent chose between eight and ten on the scale, indicating that they are motivated to vote in the upcoming election.

Further, the survey found Republican Mark Robinson leading Democrat Josh Stein in the Tar Heel State’s gubernatorial race by four points, and 43 percenta of respondents said they would vote for a Republican candidate in their district for state legislature, compared to 39 percent who said they same of a Democrat candidate.

The survey was taken September 1 to 5, 2023, among 914 likely 2024 voters.

Good to hear. NC is a key state for the GOP in order to win the White House.

Again, how can we tolerate the alleged percentage who THINK JOE IS GREAT FOR PRESIDENT?

Sorry to shout.

These people sit on juries. They vote. They walk and drive near us and thus endanger us. They’ve got to go.

Example: A tourist attraction dinosaur park exhibit had the most complaints this matter: “Don’t go there. It’s a ripoff. All of the dinosaurs are phony. None of them are alive.”

One of the top questions to park rangers: “When we get lower down into the Grand Canyon is the Grand Canyon air conditioned?”

“NC is a key state for the GOP in order to win the White House.”

It’s sad - but I remember when we never had to worry about states like North Carolina. Virginia was solid GOP as was Georgia, etc.

Now I feel like we’re playing defense. It’s almost impossible to win the Electoral College with states like these that have gone purple.

Key word “alleged”
The steal is real and rolled into the poll.
The stupid is still out there though and still bought and paid for with our money.

True that such polls are for reinforcing wavering weak opinions so people will feel like “I’m doing something other people are doing so I’m okay.” Like TV ads for just about anything. Herd instinct.

They say women instantly find a man more attractive if they see another has now become his girlfriend or has gotten engaged to him.
“Mate selection” influence has them thinking the other female must have found good evolutionary factors in the man if they chose him.

The unwashed masses love free stuff from the government. It never goes away, and just grows and grows. When people figure out they can get more free stuff by voting democrat, that is a sure sign the Republic is dying.

NC should even be this close in the formerly conservative South.

I knew this country was lost when Southern heroes were torn down and nothing was done by my formerly native Southerners.

Trump may win but the die is cast for this nation.
