Good thing he wasn’t anywhere near the capital on Jan 6th - he might have got 22 years!
And Danny Masterson gets 30 years for being accused of rape.
11 We look for justice, but find none; for deliverance, but it is far away.
12 For our offenses are many in Your sight, and our sins testify against us. Our offenses are ever with us, and we acknowledge our iniquities:
13 rebellion and treachery against the LORD, turning our backs on our GOD, inciting revolt and oppression, uttering lies our hearts have conceived.
14 So justice is driven back, and righteousness stands at a distance; truth has stumbled in the streets, honesty cannot enter.
15 Truth is nowhere to be found, and whoever shuns evil becomes a prey. (Isaiah 59:11-15)
And it was INTENTIONAL… NOT A NEGLIGENT ACCIDENT.

To be specific, 1 year of prison for murder, 1 year credit for sitting at home on the couch playing video games, 3 years “supervised probation”. And while he’s inside, he won’t be allowed to drive. This sentence was intended as more a pat on the back than a slap on the wrist.
From the article:
A state district court judge reportedly gave Brandt the sentencing with nearly a year of credit for time served under house arrest, including three years’ supervised probation and a yearlong suspension of his driver’s license.
Hope he never makes it out of prison.
Foster County Sheriff Authorities sentenced...
It was a judge. Why use the above?
Welcome to the united police state of America, where the state workers and corporate support systems don’t even realize they are the state police system being ordered to rule over those who dissent. Those sad folks driving around alone in their cars with masks on right now, its hard to stomach this much longer.
A two tiered justice system is a recipe for revolution.
Throw in taxes and religion and it goes hot quick.

Years ago someone murdered a guy because the lyrics in a Beatles song said to. This guy sounds just as crazy.
After early release he can get a job with the Capitol Police.
This person murders someone and gets 5 years, and the proud boy guy, who killed no one, gets 22 years?
This justice system is run by criminals.
So he knew the family and still tried to pass this off as
a defensive move?
Yeah, why not give the guy less than the max, he’s such
a thoughtful soul. /s
It’s a good thing he didn’t walk around the Capitol, or it would have been 22 years in solitary with no chance of parole.
The judge and this guy should have their punishments
reviewed. Justice denied!
