Time to Declare a 'People's War' on the CCP: All of China Is One Military Machine
Gatestone Institute ^ | 9/11/23 | Gordon Chang

"I want to be clear that we do not seek to decouple or to hold China's economy back," declared U.S. Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo during her August trip to Beijing.

Well, why not, Madam Secretary? The U.S. should be holding the Chinese economy back. In fact, we should be doing more than just that. Washington should be trying to end the rule of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). It is time to declare a "people's war" against the CCP. We are in an us-or-them fight.

The Party certainly thinks that way. In May 2019, People's Daily, the CCP's self-described "mouthpiece" and therefore most authoritative publication in China, declared a "people's war" against the United States.

Should have done it a long time ago. But we had Kissinger, Bush, Clinton and our foggy bottom deep state spineless amoral sycophants

Trump began the move to address the Chicom problem.

And it’s a Chicom problem, China was an ally and would be without Chicoms.

Nixon as well, although I think Nixon was under the impression that China could be modernized politically if it was working with other modern Western nations.

Yes Nixon.

When I say Kissinger I mean Nixon/Kissinger.

Kissinger continued doing this, made millions and continues to this day.

The ‘unconventional warfare’ latest shot across the bow is the Chinese Maui Massacre, but no one is prepared to address it. Why would they attack Maui? What has Hawaii got to offer them on their march to the Mainland?

This idiot is clueless while one of the guys who put the Chicoms on their knees, Peter Navarro, gets convicted in a DC kangaroo court. Elect Trump and deal with the Chinese problem.

Nixon and Kissinger believed that there was a Sino-Soviet split and that with recognition of the Beijing regime, the Red Chinese regime could be pulled away from the Communist orbit. With Mao's death and the failure of the Maoist Gang of Four to attain power after his death, it appeared that the new leaders were moving toward a market economy. What the CCP was a version of Lenin's New Economic Policy on a bigger scale than what was seen in the Soviet Union and without a Stalin to restore a planned economy in ten years. China prospered and witnessed an economic boom unprecedented in its history. However, the CCP remained in power and ruthlessly crushed the Tianamen Square uprising in 1989. In the 2010s, it became evident that they were reverting to harsh authoritarianism, suppressing religion, building up their military, and absorbing Hong Kong. The Western elites that believed Red China would be a partner in their one world government schemes were betrayed. However, Chinese entities managed to use bribery to control politicians such as President Biden.

“Should have done it a long time ago”
I don’t believe we could have. China had the people and the USSR had the weapons. We became immersed in the Middle East from George H.W. Bush through the end of George W. Bush especially after 9/11.
But, it may have worked out better. A large segment of the Chinese population has tasted the good life that was previously unknown to them and have no desire to go backwards. The one child policy has also created successive generations of pampered children that are now self absorbed adults. they could not even imagine enduring the hardships their Grandparents took as routine.

Mark Anthony lost everything at the Battle of Actium when his entire naval fleet ended up at the bottom of the sea.

Change CCP to DC and you got a deal.

Hawaii has been prime naval real estate since Captain Cook landed there in 1778.

No, the “Western elites” are the ones doing the betraying. Particularly the ones running the European Union.

Otherwise, everything is spot on.

Right_Wing_Madman: "Mark Anthony lost everything at the Battle of Actium when his entire naval fleet ended up at the bottom of the sea."

That's an interesting historical analogy.
If we look at it that way, then Mark Anthony represents the CCP, bottled up on land and wishing to break-out into the open ocean.
And Mark Anthony (CCP) actually had more ships and larger ships than his opponent, Octavian, soon to become Emperor Agustus.

But Mark Anthony's (CCP) problem was that his ships were poorly manned, trained and motivated, and so performed poorly compared to those of Octavian, whose forces were well equipped and lead by the best naval commander of the time.

As a result, Anthony's (CCP) forces were defeated, and he and Cleopatra barely escaped with their lives, to be pursued and finally ended in Egypt.

Admittedly, the analogy is not perfect, for example, who today plays the role of Cleopatra? Would that be Vladimir Putin, buddy-buddy to the CCP's Xi-snake?

Still I like it, and here's the map from 31 BC:

The US is in no position to shove China around.

China makes much the stuff the American economy needs and wants.

China can tell the US to go to hell and it will be hell in the US.

Prior to Xi, there was a lose coupling of civilians and military. But Xi introduced the Military-Civil Fusion Policy which basically states that whatever civilian companies have also goes to the military and whatever the military has goes to civilian companies.

Nobody WANTED to offshore jobs and production to China. That HUGE TRAITOROUS MISTAKE was foisted on the US working class.

Won’t do any good unless we first eliminate the CPUSA and prosecute its members for treason.

After a fair trial we can hang them all on a gallows on the White House lawn.

That way the leaders won’t have far to walk
