Over the last few years, the idea of reparations — which would compensate the descendants of American slaves — has surfaced across the country. Though a state task force recently recommended making cash reparations a reality in California, voters in the Golden State oppose doing so by a roughly two-to-one margin, according to a new poll from the Berkeley Institute of Governmental Studies.

100% of blacks feel the opposite.
Only 60%? How about letting the 40% pay?
60%?
Just make Nancy Pelosi pay. She’s got millions.
I’m sure the Latinos in California can’t wait to send their tax money to their black neighbors.
I cannot forgive anyone who allowed reparations to be seriously considered.
Not that they care.
I am only one, but still I am one. I cannot do everything, but still I can do something and because I cannot do everything, I will not refuse to do the something that I can do.

But they still can rob and walk away, I guess.
Then that’s racist because the blacks are being deprived of what’s theirs by the racist majority.
Silly voters. They think they have a say?
The 24/7/365 "Only black lives matter!" and "We're gonna trans your kids!" messaging from the Democrats is gonna drive away California Latinos.
VDH had a great video explaining this:

And not just Latinos either. California has a huge population of non-black minorities.
My son's high school in San Diego is almost all Filipino and Chinese.
It should be clear that the Agenda doesn’t give a damn about what voters feel.
Sounds like a good issue for California Republicans to run with, since it not only brings in Whites, but also Hispanics and Asians (in fact, there are more Asians than blacks in California now).
...which is EXACTLY why they won’t use the issue.
Count me in on the opposed.
There will always be mask wearers or oppressed minorities to provide pretexts for more currency devaluing payments.
60% does seem low, even for CA.
I’d like to see the way they asked the question in the poll. Probably made the responder feel like a Nazi if they didn’t support reparations.
Only 60%?
SO RACIST THEY DESERVE $5,000,000 each.
The scores of trillions of dollars in transfer payments to four generations of recipients aren’t enough; they must have trillions more. Psst, the Civil War ended 158 years ago, and we already have had eight years of a black president. Game over, bank closed.
It doesn’t matter what any voter’s opinion is any more.
