Former President Donald Trump hosted a $100,000-a-plate fundraiser for disgraced former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani at his Bedminster, New Jersey, golf club Thursday night as Giuliani struggles to pay his mounting legal bills.
Giuliani, a longtime Trump ally who also served as his lawyer, is facing a barrage of legal fees, fines, sanctions and damages related to his work helping Trump try to overturn the 2020 election and other cases. He was indicted last month along with Trump and 17 others in Georgia for what Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis has described as a wide-ranging conspiracy to subvert the will of the voters after Trump lost to Biden in 2020.
Giuliani’s son, Andrew, said in a radio interview Thursday morning that the event was expected to raise more than $1 million for his father and that Trump had committed to hosting a second event at his Mar-a-Lago club in Florida later in the fall or early winter.
“So that will be very helpful,” he said on WABC radio. Still, he said, “It won’t be enough to get through this.” …

Good for PDJT
DITTO!
What about the Black dude and “Pastor” Lee from Illinois?
And, yes I am all in DJT 2024.
What about the Black dude and “Pastor” Lee from Illinois?

They’re small potatoes. Even if they rolled on Trump, the info they know wouldn’t amount to nothing.
But Rudy G? He knows too much. Trump HAS to be sure he is well represented.
That is the honorable thing for Trump to do for Rudy, who put himself out there to help his friend. He didn’t have to do any of it. I could never in my wildest dreams imagine being in a position where I could happily pay $100K per dinner plate for anybody’s fundraising, but that’s just me.
There are many people in this country who are prepared to do just that, and good for them. All levels of society have their own intrinsic value.
So throw them under the bus?
That perverted mindset could easily convert me into a Cruzbot, DeSanctimoniousbot, or other NeverTrumper.
Nice attempt.
Epic fail.
Unfortunately, they may have to wait until 2024, when Trump can pardon him. There are too many people being prosecuted by the DOJ to be able to save them through Trump fundraisers.
NONE should dare say that the USA does NOT hold political prisoners!
He has been paying some of the legal fees.
“disgraced former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani”
FU AP!! You are a disgrace you freaking commie assholes.
Bingo. Rudy could sink Trump’s ship.
Thinking like a liberal, I see.
So you think Trump is guilty?? If so, guilty of what? Your answer will be more than interesting.
People are to be presumed innocent until proven guilty. Guiliani has only been accused. Even the accusation, racketeering, is (a) a theory presuming an ongoing criminal organization and (b) deprives the accused of representation. The D.C. and Ga. cases are both weak.
Having said these things, Rudy got Michael Milken on such a charge, and in a plea deal after threatening to go after Milken’s aged father. Rudy would later ask four different presidents to pardon Milken, including President Trump. Now, Rudy may need a Presidential pardon himself.
I sincerely hope so.
>> What about the Black dude and “Pastor” Lee from Illinois?
Wife & I talked about this the other day.
Like you, I want him to support ALL those in the dock unfairly. But... It would look mighty tainted if PDJT just carte blanche paid off the legal bills of all of the defendants.
President Trump has a track record of helping folks like these in need. I’m believing in faith that he will... in the way that is best for everyone.
>> So you think Trump is guilty??
Whether or not he does, he derives pleasure at President Trump’s legal difficulties. Sick. Deviant behavior.
>> Your answer will be more than interesting.
Don’t hold your breath.
There are a handful posting here where its pretty obvious.
Amen!
