She’s shedding her summer coat first. Then she gets three NEW ones for the winter, all on top of each other (layering, and old Inuit Trick!)

Some may not know that around 25% of the assault force on D-Day was made up of combat engineers. These brave men were tasked with the dangerous job of clearing beach obstacles and detecting for mines on Omaha and Utah Beaches. In this episode, we’re looking at a rare D-Day artifact from the collection at The Gettysburg Museum of History that was worn by a Cuban-American immigrant as he waded ashore on June 6, 1944.
This is an awesome video!!
Battlefield Return // Holland // WWII Veteran Lies Down In Foxhole With NFL Player

“In September we were fortunate enough to bring 6 #WWII #veterans back to #Holland. For many of them, they were visiting places they hadn’t been back to in 74 years. Places where they experienced some of the worst moments of their lives and where they experienced the closest brotherhood you’ll ever find. We traveled from #Belgium, through #TheNetherlands and into #Germany, following these soldier’s footsteps.”
Comments below the video:
“Sad that foreigners appreciate our veterans more then we here in America do.”
