The Anti-Defamation League (“ADL”) has declared war on X. This isn’t because X is antisemitic. It’s because the ADL is a branch of the Democrat party. Elon Musk is vowing to fight back.
In 1913, B’nai B’rith founded the Anti-Defamation League (“ADL”) after Fulton County, Georgia, corrupt then and corrupt now, tried and convicted Leo Frank, a Jewish man, for a murder the evidence showed he didn’t commit. Since its inception, the ADL focused on addressing antisemitism in America. Everything changed in 2015 when Jonathan Greenblatt became the ADL’s CEO.
Greenblatt had been Special Assistant to Barack Obama. He is the perfect example of one side of the schism in today’s Judaism. On one side are what I call the “Torah Jews,” those whose values are shaped by the literal words of the first five books of the Bible, along with the Talmud and Midrash (the rabbinical commentaries on the Bible).
Depending on their denomination (e.g., Orthodox or Conservative), Torah Jews will follow these guides more or less strictly, but the books are always a backdrop to Torah Jews’ lifestyles and values. They’re almost invariably politically conservative.
On the other side are the leftist Jews. They’re very loud about their Jewishness, but their lodestar is leftism. The Democrat party platform sets their values. They have a strong strain of Jewish self-loathing, they’re often hostile to Israel, and they are some of the loudest voices behind the worst leftist policies (e.g., open borders, “transgenderism,” etc.). Jonathan Greenblatt comes from this second strain of American Judaism.

This is flat-out wrong. The ADL was already a leftist political organization — and notoriously anti-Catholic — back in the 1980s when I was in high school.
Wrong on both counts. Leo Frank wasn't a child rapist/killer. And if I recall correctly, he was cleared after a later investigation determined that the actual rapist/killer was a black man.

Musk should definitely boot the ADL and SPLC from X. Both are run by liars whose main concern is pushing far-left conspiracy theories, defaming people by lying about them, mostly charging them with “anti-Semitism” or “racism”, and their main goal is to squeeze money out of their gullible believers so they can enjoy their lavish lifestyles.
The ADL wants X censored. Musk has censored "hate speech" to some extent, just not enough to suit the ADL.
Abraham Foxman was biased for sure, but at least he didn't have the obvious conflicts of interest of Jonathan Greenblatt. The man served 3 years as a political appointee of the most anti-Semitic and anti-Israel President in history. This Greenblatt is simply a sellout who is being willfully used (and well paid!) to provide cover for the anti-Semites of his own party.
You recall incorrectly. He was never definitively cleared, though there are claims for both sides. I suppose you can pick your favorite investigation, and say that was the "correct" one.
The jury did find Frank to be guilty. After which there was much public pressure (mostly from outside the state) to overturn the verdict and grant Frank a pardon.
What I find most compelling is that much of the claim for Frank's innocence rests on notion that the Southern jury was bigoted.
But Southern bigots hated blacks way more than Jews. If the jury was bigoted, and there was compelling evidence that the black janitor was guilty, they surely wouldn't have passed up the opportunity to convict him. That they convicted a white Jew over a black man tells me that it was likely a fair and honest verdict.
All one needs to know.
