It "wouldn't be a total shock" if President Joe Biden drops out of his 2024 reelection race, biographer Franklin Foer, whose book about the president's first two years in office will be released this week, said Sunday.
"I would say it would, it would be a surprise to me. But it wouldn’t be a total surprise," Foer told NBC "Meet the Press" host Chuck Todd, according to The Hill.
Biden, at 80 years of age, has not given any indication that he's considering dropping out of the race, but Foer said the president "uses this word, 'fate,' constantly," when he's talking about his life.

I heard that tape on Twitter also. It’s not the one Newsmax claims exists which will force Biden out.
For Republicans it would be best to have Kamala as POTUS to keep Newsom on the sidelines for 2024.
I think Newsom would be difficult to beat. Yea yea okay his state is bleeding people, full of drug zombies, crime, theft, feces on the sidewalk, businesses closing etc. But a good number of people will think that he’s pretty and he will let us do all manner of interesting things with our genitalia.

Until his passes away, he could easily believe he is still the President. Imagine the Secret Service staff assigned to him after he leaves office.
Come to think of it, they could lock he and his minute-by-minute caretakers in one room. The Secret Service and care staff could just repeat every day “wow, you get another day of vacation.”
Then again, the possibilities of what you could tell him are endless. “We are in the Ukraine again, firing people who might come after you and Hunter.”
Heck, they could recreate the part of Air Force One where the President sleeps. He will believe that he is flying again.

The sudden willingness of the mainstream media to broach this topic suggests the decision has already been made. It’ll be interesting to see how it all unfolds.
Why is this kind of talking even seeping into the mainstream media?
Are they trying to get this subject talked about the and in the public discussion , then if it does happen no one will be surprised?
And none of us knows what happens behind the scenes. Perhaps Democrat powers that be , have already decided Joe is going to not run for reelection. Then the big question just becomes how do they publicly reveal that.

I am speaking from a purely political standpoint. Trump would crush Kamala in the general.
It would be difficult for the Democrats to nominate a white male (Newsom) over a BIPOC president given how they’ve been beating the “diversity” drum so furiously in recent years.
Look for Newsom to declare before the Oct.16th primary ballot deadline. If not, he or Big Mike will be nominated from the convention floor.
