Hi Everybody!
(((HUGS)))
|
Shavua Tov.
Wishing all our Jewish troops, veterans, families, allies, friends, and Canteeners
a peaceful and prosperous week.
Good evening, ML...((HUGS))...a Blessed Lord’s Day and Shavua Tov to you and yours.
Hope you got some Blue time today. Maybe more “hunts” for cool stuff?
It’s still windy here, but flickers are far and few between (so far)...finally!!
Prayers for our troops, veterans, families, allies, friends, and Canteeners
for a safe and peaceful week ahead.
Bible in a Year:
You show that you are a letter from Christ . . . written . . . with the Spirit of the living God.
I prefer to wear masks without messages, and I believe that the word on the mask I found is overused. But I had no choice, so I reluctantly put the mask on. And when I nearly showed my annoyance with a new receptionist at the school, I caught myself, partly because of the word on my mask. I didn’t want to look like a hypocrite, walking around with blessed scrawled across my mouth while showing impatience to a person trying to figure out a complicated system.
Though the letters on my mask reminded me of my witness for Christ, the words of Scripture in my heart should be a true reminder to be patient with others. As Paul wrote to the Corinthians, “You are a letter from Christ, . . . written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts” (2 Corinthians 3:3). The Holy Spirit who “gives life” (v. 6), can help us live out “love, joy, peace” and, yes, “patience” (Galatians 5:22). We’re truly blessed by His presence within us! .
Reflect & Pray
What are your words and actions saying to others? How can you represent Christ in what you do today?
Dear Jesus, with each person I encounter today, help me to share what it means to live for You.
He Who blessed our forefathers Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - may He bless the fighters of the Israel Defense Force, who stand guard over our land and the cities of our G-d from the border of the Lebanon to the desert of Egypt, and from the Great Sea unto the approach of the Aravah, on the land, in the air, and on the sea.
May HASHEM cause the enemies who rise up against us to be struck down before them. May the Holy One, Blessed is He, preserve and rescue our fighting men from every trouble and distress and from every plague and illness, and may He send blessing and success in their every endeavor.
May He lead our enemies under their sway and may He grant them salvation and crown them with victory. And may there be fulfilled for them the verse: For it is Hashem, your G-d, Who goes with you to battle your enemies for you to save you.
G-d bless and keep your children safe, Alouette.

Comments below the video:
I usually don’t comment on videos, as I see no need most of the time, but this forced me to make an exception. This video is quite honestly the best and most moving war video I have ever seen. This gave me goosebumps as I watched. Thank you all for your service. o7

To all our military men and women, past and present,
THANK YOU

However, I did ride last night into Quincy, out on Hough’s Neck which is a tiny spit of land that sticks out into the bay. Sis had a gig in a seafood restaurant at the very end of the spit. It was wonderful riding along the road with the ocean on both side.
It was a wee bit chilly, but really nice.
Good evening, ETR, and Shavua Tov to you and yours.
Thanks for the GREAT link...The Tribute!!

Good evening, radu, and a Blessed Lord’s Day to you and yours.
Hope you had a good museum day.
Still VERY windy all night. My motion light on the deck kept turning on. Today is still breezy, but the gusts are not nearly so long or strong.
Keep the Lord’s Day in the Lord’s way.
A blessed Fourteenth Sunday after Pentecost (Western)/Thireenth Sunday after Pentecost (Orthodox) to all!
