Still VERY windy all night. My motion light on the deck kept turning on. Today is still breezy, but the gusts are not nearly so long or strong.

Y’all have had a wild time up there the past couple of days. I was glad to see things had calmed down this afternoon when I got home. The trees are barely wiggling now but they were leaning way over yesterday when I looked. I imagine there’s a LOT of tree trash in the yard and on the deck to be cleaned up. :-(
It was a pretty good day at the museum, though yesterday was pretty slow. First tour was with a guy who was scoping it out for a future group tour with his buddies. He
s a veteran and most of his buddies - they’re all bikers - are as well. He really enjoyed it and said he WILL be back with his buddies.
Last tour was a couple on a motorcycle who went past the museum while I was outside taking a quick smoke break. They turned around and came back and I went through with them. He’s a vet, too, and he was so funny. He was pumped up by what he saw and had his wife and me cracking up all the way through. He was like a little kid in a candy store. LOL I had a blast with both of them.
It was a gorgeous day here. They’d said it would be hot but it was on in the mid 80s. I came home, rested for a short time, then hopped on Champ to knock out the front yard. Apparently tomorrow will be pretty nice, too, and I’ll knock out the back yard, with a little luck. It all depends on how the ol’ bum back feels.
