Hochul: Sheltering Migrants Is Global ‘Invitation’ ‘to Come’ — We’re Working to Get Migrants Jobs They Want, Housing
Breitbart ^ | 08/31/2023 | IAN HANCHETT

During an interview with Spectrum News NY1 on Wednesday, New York Gov. Kathy Hochul (D) stated that the Biden administration will work to help migrants in New York “find a path so these individuals can get what they came here for, the ability to be independent,” and provide housing vouchers. Hochul also said that applying New York City’s right to shelter law to migrants for an unlimited period, “is basically an open invitation to the world to come to New York City. And you can see, the city is crushed under the weight of this.”

Hochul said, “I reinforced my message, which I said back with labor leaders and government leaders and business leaders and the mayor back in May: Let them work, find a path so these individuals can get what they came here for, the ability to be independent, out of the shelters, as well as that humanitarian crisis can be converted into a solution for the other crisis we’re experiencing in New York, which is a severe worker shortage.

Perhaps, but sending them to sanctuary states for blue governors and citizens to deal with was a good move.

HOUSING COST REPAYMENT AGREEMENT

The applicant agrees to repay the City of New York for all costs of housing and related items provided upon request of the applicant plus 18% APR interest plus reasonable collection costs including attorney fees.

The US needs to get out from under the Refugee Convention by invoking Article 44.

Trump and DeSantis have failed to make the Refugee Convention an issue.

The Refugee Convention is the key legal means of invasion.

The problem can only grow. Those communities and states which provide far less in services and support should advertise the cities and states which provide too much. Let the "free money" bunch go where the "free lunch" is being served. Democrats have chosen for themselves.

More busloads to DC, NYC, LA, Martha's Vineyard, Malibu, and so on.

Marxism is stupid.

I suggest that it depends on the goal(s).

If the goals are equality of outcome for the non-elites (even if they are equally poor) and the maximization of dictatorial power for the elites, then Marxism works like a charm.

________________________________________________

1. They didnt come here for jobs
2. They didnt come here to be ‘independent’
3. They came for the freebies like free housing
4. Free housing vouchers isnt independence.
4. Joe’s administration is doing all the work so the illegal aliens dont have to.
5. They dont speak English and they arent skilled.

Can’t she figure out that these benefits merely encourage more illegals to come to New York?

Finding jobs for illegals is limited unless the job has a handle on it, that is all they know.

If it “worked like a charm” the whole world would have turned Marxists decades ago.

You are taking my comment out of context. Did you do that intentionally?

I said it works like a charm FOR THOSE WHOSE GOALS ARE EQUALITY OF OUTCOME AND DICTATORIAL POWER FOR THE ELITES.

Not everyone in the world has the goals of equality of outcome and being ruled by a dictatorship.

Do they?

Have you ever looked into the eyes of a cow. They are absolutely empty. They convey a creature that is happy to eat, sleep and exist.

Hochul has those same vacuous eyes. Just give her the marching orders and talking points of the day and that is all she needs. Mooooo.

BTW, free market economies (aka capitalism) really do work like a charm, but they haven't taken over the world.

What percentage of them will end up on welfare for life?

They’re already “taxing” the school system.

I’m guessing most of them - no skills, no education, don’t speak English. They’ll pull far more out of the system than they ever put in.

They expect the government to provide them with a middle class life without them having to do anything for it. They want what we have without having to earn it.

When NY is out of $$, they’ll come to the feds with their hands out - and get it.
