Tucker Carlson has claimed the United States 'hates' Russia because 'it's a Christian country' - amid claims in Moscow that he's trying to land an interview with Vladimir Putin.
The former Fox News star told MCC Feszt, a social, political and cultural festival in Hungary, that Russia is like Hungary in that both are nations 'built on Christian precepts'.
'That is enough to incite our policy makers in the United States and that is exactly why they hate Russia,' he said.
Carlson told the audience at the festival - which ran through the final weekend of July - that he is 'not a fan of Russia'.
He added: 'One thing that Russia and Hungary have in common is a big part of the population identify as Christians. Why would that be provocative?
'A huge part of Malaysians identify as Muslim. Fine with me. But it's not fine with Washington at all, it's deeply offensive to see that alive in Europe. And that is the core - it's not rational, this is happening on a gut level, but it is expressed through policy.'
Hungary, a member of both the European Union and NATO, has come under scrutiny from western leaders because of Prime Minister Viktor Orban's favorable approach to Russia and his reluctance to support military aid for Ukraine.

Actually the Churches in Kyiv predate the churches in Muscowy by hundreds of years.
Russia has its own brand of Christianity, The Russian Orthodox Church. You’re good to go if you are a parishioner of that church. A Catholic or a Jehovah Witness, probably not so much.
Although I do remember when in grade school we were taught that the Soviet Union outlaws religion. That was probably more propaganda than truth.
As of now I’d say the Russian government is more “Christianity friendly” than the US deep state government.

Russia is an oppressive dung heap. Demographically, it is old and dying. It is sick and drunk. Their factories are running on fumes. Their currency is less valuable than toilet paper. If they are “more Christian” than the west it is because they are crying out to God for deliverance.
The best way not to overreact to the leftist crap, is not to react at all. Instead, look at it for what it is—a tool to make you look the fool.

We are dealing with power politics, the great game of nations that has existed for millennia. The fact is that Russia and China, and their client states in the Third World, are aiming to end the hegemony that the United States has enjoyed since 1945. Their success is not inevitable but the Western nations are doing little outside of supporting Ukraine to prevent their triumph. Shredding the moral fabric, deindustrializing the economies, demonizing the ancestral/white populations and the Christian faith, and burdening the extraction of natural resources through onerous regulations if not outright prohibition undermine the cohesion of America and its allies.
The question is whether we are dealing with conspiracy or world class stupidity. Looking at what happened in Maui, we see a level of incompetence that could have been taken out of the movie, Idiocracy. The Deep State both here, in Western Europe, and the Anglosphere do aim for a one world government and have done so for decades. However, the level of incompetence is mind blowing and their desperation is increasing. That explains the intense lawfare against Trump. Why don't they just let him win the GOP nomination and cheat him out of a win as in 2020? Look.at the ineffectiveness of the sanctions against Russia. The Russian Army is not winning and is caught in World War I redux, but they are able to continue their war against Ukraine for 18 months.
Like a lion seeking prey, China and Russia see a weak, old water buffalo apart from its herd and plan to kill it. The "herd" of the West is the Christian religion, morality, industriousness, and culture. Abandoning them leaves the water buffalo prey for attack and destruction.
I guess waging aggressive war fare on peaceful people, kidnapping Ukrainian children and taking them back to Russia. Stealing 100’s of millions of dollars is Christian then. Gee who knew?

Russia has massacred tens of thousands of civilians in Ukraine, it has invaded Georgia, parts of Moldova, Crimea, Donbas, attempted to take Kiev, is menacing to take back the Balt States and Poland... etc... TRULY ANTI CHRISTIAN BEHAVIOUR.

I have read tons of bad rumors against Trump, Biden, Putin, Zelenski... its dripping all over internet every day. Many of these rumours have been called out as false.
We are in a war. We can’t know what’s right or false easily, time will tell.
That’s why I never listen to rumors trying to know if they are true or false. I only look at deeds.
Russia is indeed the invader, is clearly wiping out towns and villages and Ukrainian children have indeed been kidnapped by the thousands by Russia.
