The Department of Justice informed the House Judiciary Committee on Tuesday night that it would not cooperate with subpoenas for two FBI agents involved in the department's investigation of Hunter Biden because of the committee's stipulations for their depositions.
Carlos Uriarte, DOJ assistant attorney general, claimed in a letter obtained by the Washington Examiner to committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) that his subpoenas to the two agents "lack legal effect and cannot constitutionally be enforced" because Jordan had prohibited DOJ lawyers at their depositions.
"The subpoenas issued by the Committee prohibit the attendance of agency counsel at appearances by two FBI employees where the Committee has indicated it will ask questions regarding information they learned within the scope of their official duties, including regarding the ongoing criminal investigation," Uriarte wrote.
He also noted that compelling testimony from the pair of FBI officials, special agents Thomas Sobocinski and Ryeshia Holley of the FBI's Baltimore Field Office, "was premature."

There is also the filtration system in place for most candidates for office. Only the ones that are already corrupted and subject to future blackmail are promoted by their respective party establishments. It is rare that a MAGA/Tea Party emerges successfully from the primaries, and then their own party sandbags them in the general.
All that is true, but we do it to ourselves. We were told by a few real conservatives that McCavey was wrong for the speakership. Then, McCavey gave Biden an increase in the debt limit. No recall of the Speaker. Did the House pass the required appropriations bills? No. We’re are going to get a big fat Continuing Resolution giving Dems everything they need to win the upcoming elections. All of that was supposed to have ended with Republicans taking the House. Nothing has changed!
The GOP is a huge grifter platform.
Democrats only use the word constitutionally only when they want to tie the hands of justice otherwise it’s a invalid thing.

The Republicans know what the Dems are doing as well. Yet they stay silent.

they are afraid, because they have NO RELATIONSHIP with God and do NOT want it. the ones who publicly say they do know God (mike pence types), are liars.
there are some who don’t make mouthy claims about loving God, but demonstrate it by what they do. They are very rare. every tree is known by its fruit, its attributes. If the fruit is good, the tree is too. if the fruit is poison so is the the tree from which it falls to the ground.
we need almost all new trees in our forest.
Dems are the same in that regard, what do we do about it?
This is the ONLY option congress now has at their disposal in dealing with the scum that are the deep state. The deep state is arrogant, corrupt and out of control. They hold the rule of law, the people and the congress in contempt.

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy accused President Joe Biden of a "culture of corruption" on Sunday, adding that the "natural step forward" would be an impeachment inquiry.
"You've got to understand only because Republicans took the majority have we found out what President Biden told us when he was running for office is not true," McCarthy told Fox host Maria Bartiromo on Sunday Morning Futures.
"We now found out as he was a sitting vice president [under former President Barack Obama], the family created 20 shell companies. They received 16 of 17 payments from Romania while he was vice president. We now found that the money would flow to nine family members."
McCarthy continued: "We also have a DOJ [Department of Justice] that tried to give a sweetheart deal to Hunter Biden and the judge said no.
So, if you look at all the information, we've been able to gather so far, it is a natural step forward that you would have to go to an impeachment inquiry."
Looks like some gonadal growth is taking place. Let's see what Kevin does when things get rolling in September.
