U.S. Judge Tanya S. Chutkan reportedly compared the January 6 Capitol riot to the 9/11 attacks and the Boston Marathon bombing on Monday when she questioned the need for a long delay before his trial in Washington, D.C.
Chutkan’s remarks were reported by Julie Kelly, who has covered the trials of defendants accused of participating in the January 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol via her Substack publication, “Declassified with Julie Kelly.”

I know many people say it doesn’t matter because her rulings will be over-turned at some point. It DOES matter. The process is the punishment and justice delayed is truly justice denied. Trump is able to afford the process, but for how long?

If you read through Chutkan’s wiki page, it’s pretty clear she’s not interested in following the law in her rulings, she’s an ideological disruptor.
In what way could the US Supreme Court become involved in this process? I am not very familiar with with how cases come to be before the court and what avenues there are to speed the process.
She’s a friggin’ Jamaican. What the hell does she know about American history? I compare it more to the Boston Tea Party.
