COVID-19: Eris or Pirola? Should you be concerned?

So who is Dr. Scott Gottlieb, and why should we care about whether or not he is “concerned?” Dr. Gottlieb was the commissioner of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) during the height of COVID-19. He is now a CNBC contributor and a member of the boards of Pfizer, genetic testing startup Tempus, health care tech company Aetion, and biotech company Illumina. He also sits on the board of New Enterprise Associates (NEA), a global venture capital firm. My insider friends also say that Dr. Gottlieb is/was on advisory boards for the CIA. You know, that CIA—that founded Moderna as a startup and continues to capitalize on it via its venture capital firm In-Q-Tel.

Yeah, no “conflict of interest” in his statement above, as Moderna and Pfizer stocks rise amid “new COVID variants.”

Meanwhile, Pfizer is already pushing its updated COVID-19 shot, with headlines stating that there are data demonstrating that these revised products elicit neutralizing antibody activity against the “Eris” subvariant in mice. Eris and Pirola are the newest COVID-19 virus subvariants. There are NO validated correlates of protection for any coronavirus vaccine, and the implication that murine-neutralizing antibodies demonstrate “effectiveness” is absolutely disinformation. Or, in plain-speak, a clear lie. The same lie we were told in 2021 to justify the deployment of the original experimental gene therapy-based vaccines.

Propagation of fearporn based on fake news and hype is now a validated method for Big Pharma to control governments and their populations. But are people buying it this time around?

One of my primary care physician colleagues wrote this to me yesterday:

“Who would’ve thought that Covid would resurge as a concern for so many! I’m getting bombarded with calls and request for ivermectin, folks who are testing unnecessarily. Absolute panic out there once again.”

So yes—the fearporn is working.

As usual, there is only one group at any risk attributable to COVID-19 at this point, and even that is a very low risk—that risk group being the age cohort of 70+ years old. In the 70+ age group, about three people are being admitted to the hospital WITH COVID-19 per 100,000 per week. For all other age cohorts, the risk of hospital admission is nearly next to nothing.

Although I have not seen the primary data, some reports state that Eris may be more transmissible than other variants, but all indications are that it does not appear to be more severe than omicron.

There is also a new variant called BA.2.86, nicknamed Pirola. But so far, symptoms associated with that virus also appear to be mild.

So ignore the alarm calls sounding from mainstream media.

When Pfizer board member Dr. Scott Gottlieb makes headline news that he is “pretty concerned” about this new variant, take a step back and remember his role in the “Twitter files.”

In 2021, Dr. Gottlieb tried to strong-arm Twitter to take down a post written by Dr. Brett Giroir, another ex-commissioner of the FDA. Why? Because Dr. Giroir’s post explained that natural immunity was superior to vaccine protection. In that post, Dr. Giroir asked the White House to “follow the science”—that is, to exempt people with natural immunity from the vaccine mandates.

So will Dr. Gottlieb work to advance the interests of his commercial clients, including Pfizer? Hell, yes!

So don’t be fooled—but also be prepared.

We are heading into negative-vitamin D3 season. Now is the time to make sure your vitamin D3 (remember that bit of K, too) levels are adequate. That is, around or above 50 ng/ml. I personally take 10,000 IU per day during the winter, but many people need only take 5,000 IU. This is a handy chart for determining the dosage needed to obtain specific vitamin D3 levels.

Don’t forget to take zinc with your vitamin D3 (I take 30 milligrams per day).

Another helpful tip is to find a doctor you trust, now! A physician who will help you determine the correct dosing of vitamin D3 and zinc, who is willing to prescribe multidrug, early-treatment protocols against COVID-19, and one who isn’t going to pressure you or your family into unnecessary shots.

Furthermore, try to find a physician who will work with you to maintain or attain your optimal health. That includes weight management and hormonal management, for those of us who are a bit older. I also encourage you to find an exercise regimen that works for you, as I have done.

Most of the people I observe “masking up” and obsessing on “getting tested” are younger millenials and Zers who simply haven’t lived long enough to realize that: yes, infectious respiratory diseases happen; and no, most of the time they greatly underperform their hype.

I’m in my seventh decade. I remember the Hong Kong Flu (school closed for two DAYS because of a lack of substitute teachers); the Avian Flu, the early days of AIDS, etc ad nauseum.

And in every case: the FEAR epidemic proved more disturbing and disruptive than the disease itself.

I wish I knew what happened to Bob Malone. Back in the 90s when I spent some time as a graduate student in his lab, he did not seem like an antiscience kook, although he and his wife came off as rather liberal.

Now, he’s just spreading the antivax propaganda and trying to convince people that catching Covid is no big deal.

I think that a disease that kills one out of every hundred who catch it and leaves 20-30% with serious health impairments *is* something to be avoided.

Be careful of the misuse of statistics. It is dishonest to represent the outcome of catching a disease at the level of the entire population. By that measure, no one should ever worry about rabies, because it only kills about 1 person per 100 million. But the thing is, if you get bit by a rabid dog and do nothing, your chance of dying is 100%.

There is only one reason I can think of that leftists have targeted conservatives with antivax/antiscience propaganda. It is because they want us to die.

I am also in my 7th decade have lived through measles, mumps, chicken pox, small pox, Hong Kong Flu, Asian Flu, H1N1, and NOW Covid, NEVER once did they close down business Essex, mask everyone up, DEMAND vaccines this was the biggest bunch of BS and NO ONE will ever convince me that this was NOT a regular flu season HYPED UP during the election season to get rid of Trump!!
