Federal health authorities are laying out plans for taking on this year’s respiratory viral season, with officials emboldened by the new spate of preventive medications the U.S. has gathered heading into the fall and winter.
“We are in our strongest position yet to be able to fight COVID-19 as well as the other viruses that are responsible for the majority of fall and winter hospitalizations, namely flu, COVID as well as RSV,” a CDC official said in a press call on Thursday.
They cited the high rate of COVID-19 immunity — 97 percent — among U.S. individuals 16 and older for helping the country get into a stronger position. They acknowledged, however, that immunity is not a guarantee of protection and noted the new vaccines and antibodies at hand.

I might get a flu shot as long as it’s not mRNA type. That’s as far as I go.
The shot has already proven to not provide immunity. But it does come with more adverse and deadly affects than any shot the FDA has ever approved.
Exactly! I retired from the military ten years ago and haven’t had a vaccine since. Only been sick twice.
We had so many mandatory shots in the military it was ridiculous!

Yes, but do you believe your doctor and your government will answer that mRNA question truthfully? I think they are now too lazy to develop vaccines the old-fashioned way.
They don’t even pretend anymore, I swear. They pull numbers out of a hat just like Biden administration does about the economy. Must be nice.

Since when is government used to promote products by private companies? Marketing. Since when is government an "investor" in private companies? Marketing. Since when is government ever fully informed about actual future preventive medications? Marketing. Since when does government announce plans for ad campaigns? Marketing.

I had read they’re going to put that in the flu shot.
After the second shot I started shedding quarter-sized patches of skin from my legs to my scalp. And, ended up with vaccine induced arthritis in my hip. Then, I found out my getting the Vaccine was not going to keep my elderly relatives safe after all.
Not taking any more.
The problem is that more stupid liberals are going to take the vaxx and die, while conservatives avoid the poison and survive.
This won’t show up in voting results though, because the dead democrats will still vote.

The CDC graphic about this 2024 primary election variant outright says that people that have had COVID or have been vaccinated are most likely to have severe illness.
