Just over fifty-five years ago, on June 5, 1968, Senator Robert F. Kennedy was gunned down in the kitchen of the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles, shortly after triumphing in the California and South Dakota Presidential primaries.
...
“Sirhan confessed to the murder,” denoted Kennedy. “He pled guilty. His story is that he has no memory of it, and he stuck with that story for 60 years. But there was a man standing, one of my father’s best friends, standing beside him when my father was shot. And his name is Paul Schrade.”
“And the first shot that Sirhan fired hit Paul in the head,” Kennedy detailed. “Paul survived, and he just died less than a year ago. And he spent the last 20 years of his life trying to get Sirhan out of jail because he did not believe that Sirhan killed my father.”
Kennedy shared that Allard Lowenstein, a former US Congressman (D-NY) and “great friend” of Robert F. Kennedy, also believed the same thing — that Sirhan Sirhan did not kill the Presidential hopeful in 1968. “He fought for many years to get Sirhan out [of prison] and get the case reopened because he did not believe that my father was killed by Sirhan.”
Kennedy previously believed that the 77 eyewitnesses at the Ambassador Hotel shooting must have seen things right — that Sirhan Sirhan killed his father.
“Paul Schrade made me come over to his house one day and read the autopsy report,” recalled Kennedy. “How did he make me? He told me, you have to do this. And because he was such a close friend of my father’s and because he himself had been shot, I felt like I couldn’t say no to him. When I sat down and read the autopsy report, it became clear to me, as it would to anybody who read that report, that Sirhan could not have killed my father, which is what Thomas Noguchi, the coroner, the most important coroner probably in American history also concluded and said in his autobiography.”
Bkmk
I met his dad and shook his hand the day before he died. His plane stopped at the Medford Oregon airport on the way to Sanfransicko.
Our wonderful Freeper friend “restock” was there when RFK was shot. I’m sorry I don’t remember his conclusion of who was guilty.
Indeed. Psalm 46:10 “Trust Me and know that I am God.”
Explain how Lee Oswald put a round through the windshield next to the mirror
I read “Nemesis” written by Peter Evans years ago. Fascinating take on the assassination of Robert Kennedy. It is claimed that Onassis and RFK despised each other, that Onassis made it clear he would marry Jackie, to which RFK, responded “over my dead body”. Here is a synopsis of the book.
“Now, this shocking work by seasoned investigative journalist Peter Evans reveals the culmination of the Kennedy-Onassis-Kennedy love triangle: Onassis was at the heart of the plot to kill Bobby Kennedy. Nemesis meticulously traces Onassis′s trail - his connections, the way that he financed the assassination - and includes a confession kept secret for three decades. With its deeply nuanced portraits of the major figures and events that shaped an era, Nemesis is a work that will not soon be forgotten.”
Ah! Spell check!!!
“redrock”
Yep. Occam’s razor. But some people believe all kinds of stuff. God bless ‘em and hope they vote Trump.
He didn't and such a thing would not have been necessary. Of course, it makes for good conspiracy theories to make stuff up that supposedly had to be possible.
After Sirhan Sirhan shot RFK, Rosey Grier wrestled the gun away. George Plimpton also tried to wrench the gun from the killer.. Grier was working as a bodyguard for RFK’s wife Ethel.
RFK was planning to re-open his brother’s assassination investigation—and he knew the CIA did it.
That is why RFK was killed.
As to JFK—the CIA had many reasons to kill him from policy differences—Bay of Pigs aftermath where JFK fired Allen Dulles, Vietnam, Israel nuclear weapons, Soviet nuclear weapons negotiations—to personal hatred (JFK slept with wife of London Chief of Station and wrecked his marriage).
The best book on the RFK assassination:

Many great books on the JFK assassination, but the best hard evidence of CIA involvement is the deathbed confession of E. Howard Hunt:

The man he names is now dead and can’t sue, and also passed a polygraph test in which we denied being part of the assassination.
The bullets were to send a message as well as kill.
Okay and who was the real shooter?
Thanks for posting.
“Good. Now maybe RFK Jr. can help OJ find Nicole’s real killer.”
Nobody got a sample off of OJ Simpson’s son. He was never even looked at, yet him and whatever her name was were often at odds. OJ took the wrap because he didn’t want to see his son go to jail however his son has died since. And you know the DNA is going to match.
I didn’t research this, but in 1968 why would a Musilm guy be at an RFK speech?
Sigh.
There was a bullet hole in the windshield.
There are lots of pictures of it

OJ did not take the rap. He was acquitted; not guilty. The prosecution's blood evidence was destroyed as evidence by Barry Scheck, Peter Neufeld, Dr. Henry Lee, and Dr. Frederic Rieders. The prosecution case was a mess.
And if you dig deep enough [it don’t have to be very deep] you will uncover a Lyndon Johnson. Ditto with the deaths of JFK and Martin Luther King.
"I shouted out
Who killed the Kennedy's?
When after all
It was you and me"
