Michael Cohen, who served as former President Trump’s personal attorney, called. the former president an “idiot” for not paying his alleged co-conspirators’ legal bills in the Georgia election case.

Cohen questioned Monday why Trump would not pay the legal bills for his other codefendants who were indicted in Fulton County, Ga. — such as attorneys Rudy Giuliani and Jenna Ellis.

“Donald’s an idiot,” Cohen told CNN’s Kaitlan Collins on “The Source.” “Let me just be very clear when it comes to paying money, he is truly an idiot. He has not learned yet that … three people you don’t want to throw under the bus like that: your lawyer, your doctor and your mechanic. Because one way or the other, you’re going to go down the hill and there’ll be no brakes.”

The RNC should be paying all their bills.

Cohen is nothing more than a professional ambulance-chaser.

Why isn’t Trump paying these bills? He is paying his via campaign or pac, so not out of personal funds. Only fair to pay everyone same way. He can always raise money, ask for donations to help. I support DeSantis, but would donate to a legal fund.

Given Mr. Smith’s way of looking at issues, he may think Trump paying the other attorney is illegal like buying the witnesses, buying Silence, somehow continuance of a criminal enterprise? I’m not a lawyer, but I see how Mr Smith uses ever action of Trumps as somehow criminal.

Maybe because the prosecution would claim he used campaign funds and charge him with another crime.

Whatever happened to Trump self funding? He’s chasing every Wall Street corporate donor he can get.

Cohen has learned: being useful to the deep-state and serving them, protects one from legal persecution.

He’s a business man, he says one thing, does another. Self-funding is one, Mexico paying for the wall another. Not sure i would call this lying, but it is a pattern.

Cohen sued and got Trump to pay his legal bills

https://www.cnbc.com/2023/07/21/former-trump-lawyer-michael-cohen-settles-legal-fees-suit-.html

Not paying appears to be routine with Trump

https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/elections/2016/06/09/donald-trump-unpaid-bills-republican-president-laswuits/85297274/

Trump says he doesn’t pay when the work isn’t satisfactory. As we know, Trump has an abysmal record of hiring lawyers, naming Vice Presidents, nominating people to the cabinet, and appointing people to his staff.

If you google, Giuliani Legal Bills, you will see countless articles that Rudy is in real financial trouble, he’s been the subject of countless lawsuits and now criminal charges over the 2020 election.

What is also being reported is that Trump agreed to pay approximately $350-400k of the bills, the bills total in the millions, what’s also being reported is that Rudy is being forced to sell his Manhattan apartment in order to help pay his legal bills, basically he’s being financially decimated.

Rudy has been one of Trump’s staunchest supporters and legal representatives, since the 2020 election.

The vast majority or all of Trump’s legal bills are getting paid from donations coming into his PACs, this has been extensively reported as well, remember the GOP raised over 250 million after the 2020 election to fight legal battles over the election, most of that money no one really has accounted for in terms of legal challenges to the election, most of it according to public records went into Trump’s other PACs.

It would appear there is plenty of money that’s been raised to pay a lot of legal bills, including Rudy’s, which to this point that hasn’t happened.

Jenna Ellis is in the same boat, although you could make a case that since she’s switched to the DeSantis side she doesn’t deserve anything over being disloyal, but Rudy has been steadfast in his support of Trump.

The real danger of not helping these people is they could all roll over on you and get Trump sent away for a long time, it’s not right, but it’s still a real option.

Jenna Ellis has already asked why “MAGA, Inc.” isn’t paying her bills. It’s exceedingly unwise to let people who can hurt you twist in the wind.

Was she an employee of MAGA Inc or an Independent contractor?
