Meacham is the same blowhard partisan hack who as editor of Newsweek in 2009 decided the best way to make his magazine a success was to cut the number of subscribers in half. Oh, and a year later Newsweek went so far down the toilet that it sold for... ONE DOLLAR.

So a historian helped someone, who has corrupted his high office by taking foreign bribes, to get elected. That could happen. You can’t be much of historian if you’re unable to see what that means to support the same person after it’s proven. At least not one that ever understood freedom, liberty, or a Constitution.
Historically speaking, did he mention the 19 boxes of classified material, or the pseudonyms, or the FBI affidavits, the cash transfers and offshore accounts?

He’s not wrong about that - the only way for the Republican Party to be saved from eGOP and similar types is for them to lose - in the primaries. They also need to lose in local elections for precinct chairmen, etc.

the demonicrats are beyond repair. Half of the Republicans are the same. Trump's effort too destroy the deep state is the biggest part of the answer. We need to start a new political party that the people can get behind not the manipulating politicians.

The problem is that, if the Republicans — good and bad alike — are continually punished at the polls for not being perfect, we can kiss our Republic goodbye.
